The food was lovely but the service was outstanding. Such extremely pleasant servers even though they were so busy I felt I was the only one in the room

Visited before a show, good food, pleasant staff and lively atmosphere.

We ordered from the Theatre menu. We waited for 45 minutes from finishing our starter to when the main course arrived. We ordered steak which was not up to standard. The veg was cold and no chips accompanied the steak.

The Service was very slow and the food was bland we will not be returning On the positive the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful and apologetic for the wait

Food presented and tasted lovely. Thought it a bit odd that chips and potatoes were to be ordered as an extra. Had salmon came on bed of salad, which for me wasn't very filling. Wish I'd had starter.

The foot was amazing. Good portion sizes. I had mushroom soaked in cheese starter. And then lasagne as main. It was amazing

Friendly welcome. The food was amazing. Large portion. The restaurant felt warm and cozy. Would be nice if spaghetti carbonara was on the lunch special menu.

Visiting Hanley for a show and wanted to eat before. Google highlighted Portofino. What a find! Brilliant authentic Italian restaurant, great food, great staff, short walk from concert venue. We really, really enjoyed Portofino. Will certainly go again when in the vicinity.

We had a lovely date night in a cosy booth with AMAZING food! We will definitely be back!

I went here to celebrate my partners birthday it was quite busy and we were surprise we got our food with little waiting times which was good. On the whole it was a lovely evening with lovely food.

We arrived a little early but were taken to a table of our choice straight away. The drinks order was taken quickly whilst we chose the food. We both enjoyed the food. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. We will be returning.

Loved it, food was excellent, waiting times not too long. As there weren’t too many people in when we were there I think maybe the background music was a little too loud. Apart from that it was a lovely evening.
