Qua Italian Restaurant

The food was excellent, with plenty of options on the menu. The service was very quick and friendly, always checking on the table. Finally, the value for money was also fantastic! Would thoroughly recommend!

Nice authentic Italian restaurant in Merchant City. However don’t expect to be allowed to sit and enjoy the ambience. The waiter was very pushy in getting us to order quickly and food was with us within 5 minutes of ordering. Good if you are looking for quick bite to eat but would not recommend for a meal with friends.

The food was okay, nothing special. Just an average Italian restaurant. The service was extremely over-attentive and annoying. The waiters should know, they're not comedians.

Fantastic service matched with delicious food. From the moment we stepped in, we liked it. We were sat in the window and served straight away, no pressure considering it was a Saturday afternoon. Brilliant atmosphere.

Poor quality of ham in the pasta and garlic bread was not much taste of garlic, risotto was ok , again vegetable poor quality in the dish

Really lovely dinner. Staff are very attentive, food was excellent, wine good. Portions are generous and the specials were particularly appetizing. Looking forward to going again.

The staff were so friendly food was 10 out of 10 was just a bit too quick between the starter and main that's how we couldn't finish the main but overall lovley place we will definitely be back

Classic old school style Italian restaurant. All the favourite dishes. Service very quick so not much time to linger over courses but fair enough as our table was at 6.15 for the cheap early menu deal. Lots of birthday parties, very popular with all age groups. Obviously the place to go for a celebration.

Very friendly staff, great food and they looked after my grandchildren very well. Couldn't fault anything. Well worth a visit. We will be back (probably without the grand kids and I won't be driving next time :)

The food, atmosphere and service were all excellent. This was our first time at Qua, but it will not be our last. Having spent years in Italy finding somewhere in Glasgow which strikes the balance of intense flavour and simple quality ingredients in a relaxed setting which still feels special for a celebration meal (it was our silver wedding) is not easy but Qua does this, reminding us of some of our favourite restaurants in Edinburgh, when we were first married, Silvio's and Pasquale. We might have found our new favourite.

First time in Qua. Excellent food and service, Staff very attentive and chatty without being overbearing. Given time between courses as required. Portion sizes and price were good. Was a quiet Friday afternoon, would be interesting to see if service as good on a busy weekend evening. Will definitely return.

The waiters were abit pushy looks like they were on commotion and hurried you up food was ok prices were okay it could do with a smart in up .

Made to feel at home, food is amazing and staff are outstanding, couldn't of asked for anything better. This was my second time in Qua and fair to say its been a friendly service each time !!! Loved it and will defo be back again.

We went for the light bite menu which was good value and with 2/3 size portions was perfect for lunch. Service was good and staff were very welcoming.

Excellent experience.Great atmosphere.The courses weren't rushed and Billy looked after us.The lasagne was so tasty and my wife was is a vegetarian had plenty of choice.Will be back again

We had a lovely evening. The food and wine were very good. We had excellent service. The restaurant was really busy and had a great atmosphere.

Enjoyed a special birthday meal in Qua. From the welcome at the door to the haste Ye back as we left everything was perfect. The food as per usual was excellent and the service second to none. Would not hesitate to recommend Qua and will be back soon.

Food and service was pretty good. Didn't have to wait long for food, good beer on offer, and easy enough to have a seat. Impressed.

Very quiet Sunday lunchtime. We were the only people in for most of the meal. However, the food and service excellent and portions generous. The house red was good quality and reasonably priced. Seemed like authentic Italian food and good value.

Very good first impressions and seated at a lovely table by the front window. Service was very attentive and food was very good quality, chosen from the lunch menu. Just a shame weather wasn't quite good enough to sit outside. Would definitely come back again.

Went to Qua for family ( now 4 adults)meal as been there before, as usual staff very friendly and attentive without being overpowering. Food excellent as always ,3 pasta dishes and a steak Rossini special plus desserts, husband got olive oil on his hands and waiter had a hand wipe for him within minutes without us even asking. Atmosphere relaxed. Would not hesitate returning and would highly recommend to friends. Waiter Stephen very informative regarding menu and ingredients, oh and lemonchello with Bill nice ending to meal.

This has become our favourite restaurant. The food is really good & is brilliant value for money. The staff are exceptional & really entertaining. Will be back again soon.

Staff were very attentive and humerus food was good. It had a Very busy atmosphere and the location was very handy for wandering around Glasgow city centre.

Not as enjoyable as my last visit. Food was ok. One of the waiters wasn't very friendly, in fact he made faces because we didn't want wine, or a dessert or coffee

Ok place to go. Ham that was served looked like it was straight out of a packet that you can buy at the local supermarket. 'warm Homemade bread' was also just toasted bread rolls sliced.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and the restaurant was not too noisy, meaning that I could talk rather than shout which can be the case in many other restaurants. Above all the food was lovely and the waiting staff were very attentive.

My first visit to qua and it did not dissapoint. Booked a reservation on line on the day got a space nobother. When we arrived we where given our table instantly no wait and with regards to food everything was all done pretty swiftly. The place was packed so I did expect a bit of a wait but no service was amazing! The food was epic! I will be returning

We really like Qua, it is a really good Italian. The food and service is great. You are welcomed on entering and looked after during your visit. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely lunch and as the sun was shining, we were able to eat outside! Great food and great service, will definitely go back
