Rancho Fareham

We had a nice evening and the food was good. The only issue is the time we had to wait for the main course to come out. Every table around us seemed to having the same experience. We have been to Ranchos four times now and had the same experience every time. Something to be worked on I think. My brother thinks it is done on purpose to encourage you to buy more drinks, which I suppose could be the case??

Went for the Wednesday Unlimited Ribs night, was a good night, food was really good and the staff were attentive throughout. Only downside is its noisy due to how many people are crammed into the place.

It was a bit busy but service was still good. Foof was very good. These are more words to complete the requirement for 25 words.

Lovely staff . Out of the 8 people eating 4 had ribs for a main course and all of these were dry and chewy. Very expensive considering the food wasn't that great

Great food, great décor, but very noisy, perhaps we should have avoided the special deals night, will try again perhaps at lunchtime. Wonderful waitress moved us away to a quieter corner.

Nice, clean restaurant. Good welcome. Food good but small rib-eye disappointing and rare sirloin was more medium well done. Good tasty food though and will return and discuss my comments

Visited with friends, friendly efficient staff the complimentary olives went down well! I had 225gram rump steak which was a good size cooked just right. The other meals were superb we will certainly be going back.

Had a good evening. Staff were polite and helpful. Steak was a bit tuff and hard to cut but this is the first time that has ever happened.

My wife and I have been going to Ranchos for a couple of years now. The food never disappoints. The portions and flavours are amazing and it is the only place we recommend for meals out to our friends. The service and staff are also excellent. Not to overly friendly as to intrude but polite and can have a short interesting conversation.

The staff are very attentive and always polite and curtious, the seating allowed plenty of space and is comfortable. I have been here 6 times now and the food and especially the steak is first class I had the 400gram fillet and cooked to perfection. Thinking of going here for Xmas day dinner.

Fantastic & friendly service in a very pleasant environment. Food was exceptional, way up there on my favourite places for steak! We were made very welcome from our arrival right through to leaving (we were the last to leave!) highly recommended.

First time visit for husbands birthday meal so we were really looking forward to it, I had the ribs but they were really dried out and tough so asked them to be replaced and they were gorgeous so I must of had ones that were hanging around initially. My husband had fajitias and found the steak chewy. My son said it was the best steak he had ever had and my daughter enjoyed her cheeseburger. The service was ok but not very personal as different waitress every time and we had to keep calling them over for drinks or bill etc. Overall disappointed but we might try again and maybe we just came on an off night and we had heard great reviews.

Great food and service. Beef empanadas and the Plato Argentino the best I have tasted. Very clean and well layed out. Plenty of choices to be had from the menu

Service was quick and attentive, waitress was very polite. Food was lovely but did take a little while to be served - it was very quiet when we were in there. The restraunt itself was lovely inside.

The special weekend menu was extremely good value. It included one of their delicious, melt in the mouth steaks which did not disappoint! The homemade lemon tart was beautifully presented and a delightful way to end the meal.

Excellent, food was amazing and well worth it’s value.Would definitely highly recommend a visit ,staff are welcoming and restaurant is of a high and clean standard.Looking forward to a visit back .

Absolutely amazing! I would recommend Rancho’s to anyone, took my parents for a meal last night and none of us had been before. Slightly expensive but worth every penny

A lovely restaurant. Great food and attentive, helpful and happy staff. A small group of us went there and we had a variety of meals ranging from the salmon to the steak. All were delicious and the portions were ideal for the hungry.

Food superb. Service great. The extra sides available make the meal special.

Food as always excellent and really well presented. Service appeared a little rushed as if you needed to eat and leave. Would go again though

Great food. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic dining experience. We booked 2 table (a 10 and an 8) all of us had a excellent time and the food was top notch. Definitely going again.

Lovely meal with the wife great service. One off our favourite places to go for a lovely meal. Would highly recommend giving it a try you want regreat it.

Best steaks outside of Argentina by far. Good service, very helpful with our birthday cake and a very pleasant evening all round. The owner very attentive and gave us all a drink at the end of our meal.

Was given wrong food and had earful service staff very rude. They stood about 4 metres always from our table talking about us after they gave us a replacement meal.

They find not know I was coming, thevlast time I was there you order a steak and tomatoes and mushroom was on the plate also the steak came with chips, I used to ask for the tomato and mushroom not to be put on the plate. One of my party ask if he could have small chipsin stead of large, when the plate arrived there was no tomato or mushroom. Apparently now you have to ask for them both and the chips which now comes as side orders and can cost between 2-50 & 3-50 a bowl. In stead of getting steak and chips for £18 you end up getting it for £20 +2-50 +-3-50 which ends up as £26 for a meal, that's an extra £8 more than the last time I went a rip off. The steak was cook as I wanted it but was so dry. Did not complain because it was a birthday meal for my wife and I didn't want to unset her.

Excellent service. Steaks to die for. Been coming here for a number of years and never had a bad meal. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for steak.

Very busy but very very nice , staff great too, will be back, steak was cooked to perfection , clean and tidy a must visit.

Was the first time I went (last Saturday) Amazing friendly & helpful staff, gorgeous food and cocktails. Will definitely be going back. Totally recommend. 10/10 guys .

Not happy at all, very poor service. Waited ages for our drinks, then even longer for our meals, even had to order more drinks in between. May be busy but if you can’t cope with the numbers then don’t seat as many people. Completely spoilt our daughters 20th birthday.

Great service and food. Staff were quick and attentive. More than enough items on the menu to cover all tastes. Can highly recommend the ribs. Will return again.

Fab steaks as always although a little more cooked than usual. Quiet when we arrived but we were early and service was quick but not rushed

Atmosphere in restaurant warm and friendly, food well prepared and presented , service good. Pricing was reasonable but 10% service charge on party of 6 or more was added.

The food was excellent as ever ,but there was a problem on a table near us which seemed to be sorted out however when they left the staff and I think management had a row about what had happened and was unnecessary and could be heard as they all argued about it .Very unprofessional

Food very good. Service a bit hit and miss during the evening. Good value for money. All in all a good evening. Would definitely go back.
