The server was wondering around with his coat and scarf still on. When taking our order he just came to the table and looked at us saying nothing, which was uncomfortable. I think overall he just seemed mentally elsewhere and wanted to hurry us along. Didn’t get anything wrong and got the job done but overall quite an unusual experience.

It was nice and good service. Food was good . Steak a not quite what was ordered but we don’t complain Cocktails were good

Excellent meal, from starter, mains and desserts full of flavour, freshly cooked and hot. Staff really friendly and nice.

We were greeted very warmly and the food was really nice and good value for money, only downside was trying to get the attention of staff at times to reorder more drinks but service was quick... we had a lovely evening and will return

Very noisy. Steak very inconsistent in terms of cooking. All 4 of us asked for medium rare and they varied between medium/well done to rare. One order was wrong and had to be replaced. Staff not as attentive as usual. We go to Ranchos 4 to 5 times a year and this is the first time we’ve not really enjoyed it. May try and look for another local steak restaurant for our next birthday celebration

You can never go wrong with a, all you can eat rib night at Rancho! Food is great, tasty and amazing. Wait times can be a bit long at times but the food and service from staff makes up for that. Easily one of my best places to eat.

Steak was lovely - chips described as chunky chips but they what I call steak chips... onion rings slightly burnt - overall good. Biggest thing for me was atmosphere. Sadly, everyone was so loud around us that I couldn’t hear what my husband was saying opposite me. We were sat next to a group of lads which wasn’t quite the romantic meal I was looking for so we just finished our mains and left.

Recommended by a good friend Food was ok had to wait an hour and a half But service was very poor drinks never turned up at all Offered free round of drinks because of bad service Even they never got served

There were 3 of us. Two of the steaks were fine but the other one was uneatable - virtually raw when I had requested medium/rare. It was very swiftly replaced and now was eatable but rather well done. I should add that this has never happened before in my experience and hopefully will not happen again. Also, there was one table with some very noisy people.

Unlimited ribs for £16 - bargain. Attentive staff, good food, only negative was that it was rather noisy, but don't let that put you off, the food speaks for itself. The other menu choices coming from the kitchen looked really good too, some steaks to die for!!

I know ribs night is busy, however front of house staff were really unhelpful. We asked for drinks and they never came. After the 3 time of asking we received them but the guy we asked looked really put out as if we were boring him by asking. Food however was great as always

Ribs were slightly burnt and were very dry, lack of sauce on the ribs. States 2 racks on the menu yet you only receive one, probably a misprint on the menu.

We thought we try rancho to see what it was like, well I must say we both enjoyed are selves . The food was really enjoyable ,not quite sure about the prawn starter ,it was tasty but would have preferred not to have had to peel said prawns,found it off putting .

Waited over an hour for food to arrive that wasn’t cooked as specified when ordered, then had £25 service charge slapped onto the bill. A table of 9 with close to £260 spent on food and drinks should be plenty with each person rounding up to provide £10-£15 Tip. Just being cheeky and greedy with £25 service charge that the waitress’s won’t see a penny of. We had it removed after a series of questions and attitude which is clearly not to the code of “The customer is always right”

Booked a table with Prosecco for anniversary which wasn’t ready Food Luke warm some sides cold Expensive for a cheap experience! Would not recommend for a soecial occasion

Left waiting a lot!! From waiting for our table which was pre booked to waiting for drinks ! Table service really poor which was a shame because the food was lovely. Will not be rushing back !

We visited For Valentines night. The food was very good as always. The service was a bit slow as they were very busy. The unfortunate part of the evening was that we could not have a romantic chat during this time as the music was as so loud. There was a live singer, who was very good but really much too loud for the venue. My ears are still ringing this morning. This did spoil the evening for us both unfortunately. Even the waiters could not hear us.

An excellent restaurant with good food , very clean and tidy with excellent staff. Food was presented well and cooked to a Hugh standard. 14.02.19

Service was very slow and automatic service charge was applied. The waitress then had the cheek to ask if we were leaving a tip. Rather disappointing

Unlimited ribs, took 20 minutes to get my second serving, and when they came, they were cold. Usually have a great experience here. Still my favourite restaurant, but very disappointed with last night.

We’ve used Ranchos over years and it’s always been Good Quality food with reliable staff. Great service and excellent cuts of meat, make a nice place to go as a treat or special night out.

our order for drinks and mains were taken quickly and the drinks/food arrived in timely manner and as always the food was excellent. Our plates were cleared the second I stopped chewing and dessert menu offered but we then had to wait over 35mins for someone to take our dessert order. The manager noticed and comp’d one of the desserts and apologised too for the oversight, but it did put a little damper on what was a great meal upto that point.

Great food, really enjoyed the fillet steak. Theyjust need to turn the thermostat up a few degrees. Very cold near the door. Choir in tonight which was uplifting

The menu advertised was not available. Unprofessional business. Website still shows the Sunday Roast even though it’s not an option. Went to Wetherspoons instead, much better value for money.

Booked at table for 8pm. When arriving, the guy seemed a little stressed. There wasn’t a table ready for us which was fine. We was quite happy to get a drink from the bar. Again this took a while as the guy behind the bar agained seemed a bit stressed. We didn’t get seated till around 8:50pm. Once sat we waited around 15 min to get served. No one came so I had to shout someone. When I did get someone’s attention the girl was running around trying to find someone to serve us. Once we had ordered all was ok. The food came not too long after. My partner had the ribeye and I had the fillet. My partners rib eye was delicious! Melted in your mouth. My fillet on the other hand was quite chewy even though I’d asked for it medium rare. I was a little disappointed with the sides. Garlic bread was of the frozen sort along with the chips... overall it was ok. Anyway, once finished we asked for the bill...the wrong bill was given and this had happened to the table next to us previously. I was a little frustrated by this point. Eventually got given the right bill and our drinks were not on it. I didn’t say anything. I don’t know if they did this purposely because of the wait for the table but no one had said our drinks were complimentary...I was thinking that if it was my business and all the staff were getting the bills wrong I wouldn’t be best pleased. Overall experience was pretty poor. I don’t blame the staff, the management should take point to relieve the pressure where needed...it potentially could be good.

Lovely staff, very attentive even when restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. Steak and seafood excellent as you would hope for if you go to a steakhouse.
