Apart from the miscommunication about the alcohol license I throughly enjoyed my evening here. Nothing was too much from the staff.

Having been to Ranchos many times before, this is the first time we have been disappointed. I was with a friend who I had told them how good this steak house was....but what a shambles....we had not been told that they no licence to sell alcohol and it was disappointing to be told to nip next door to the convenience store to buy our own wine and beer! We should have been told when we booked! the service was fast but the young lady mixed up our cooking instructions so my steak was undercooked for me and over cooked for my guest! They did offer to change them, but we did not want to wait so soldiered on! We did not stop for a nightcap (Loads of choice of mocktails!), opting to go back to the hotel for a pint!

Food was good as usual, only let down by the waiting time which was longer than normal.

We were lucky enough to go at a very quite time which was so relaxing. staff were excellent. Food was superb. Highly recommend.

The food was fresh and nicely cooked, they had no alcohol licence so it was bring your own alcohol. The bill was vastly reduced as a result of no drinks. It was very loud and hectic, the table next to us waiting for desert menus, not receiving coffee. But staff were very apologetic

A thank you meal for a friend. Problems over alcohol licence so we’re able to bring our own. We didn’t know but they went out in the rain to get our wine. Fabulous steak, brilliant attentive service. Will definitely be going back. A bit noisy as very busy.

Great food, just a little bit busy so we had to wait for a while for our meals. Also, we thought we were getting the 2-4-1 in cocktails and we didn't.

Very nice meal. Steak was cooked to perfection. However, I dont agree with the service charge being added automatically and feel a tip is better. I certainly dont think it should be for just 4 people. Maybe 6 or 8 but not 4.

Bit disappointed in the size of the salmon my partner had for the cost of the dish .On a previous visit the salmon was much bigger and worth the price of the dish , That’s about my only complaint

Food was lovely. The service was poor, the gentleman serving us got our orders wrong twice, had to ask for the bill 3 times even though there was only 3 couples dinning in there at the time so very quiet.
