Excellent ribs, visited on a Wednesday evening, eat as many ribs as you want! Drinks reasonable and service good. Overall, a lovely evening and will return.

Excellent food and service.... large meaty steaks and good value for money. Thoroughly recommended....The service was just right with attention when you needed it and left in peace to enjoy the meal....

Really quick, friendly service - staff really knew the menu (including the wines!) food was perfect as usual. Manager did rounds of all tables chatting to guests and checking on food. Really good to see.

The food was amazing. A little over priced but bit too much although you pay for what you get. The service was great. I will return soon.

The atmosphere, staff and food were excellent, the only problem was the Service charge said 10% but was in fact nearly 27%, which I felt was very over the top. The service was excellent and I was prepared to give a good tip, but I do feel it should be from choice. In future I will query the service charge.

We had a meal with friends and the food and service was fantastic as normal, one thing was wrong but we never noticed until the next day. You really need to check your bill as we were charged for drinks and a meal we never had on our table, £32 was over charged, but because we were enjoying our evening not one of us checked that the staff had done the bill wrong.

Very speedy service, little mistake with my steak (wanted ribeye not fillet) but everything was tasty and well cooked. Will be retuning. Prefer fareham to Southsea.

I had a meal at Rancho Fareham last night and i won't be rushing back to be honest.. it took a very long time to make our food order we only ordered main meals so nothing to complicated to write down but my steak came to me medium rare when i asked for medium well done.. it looked nice but i could only eat around the edges.. they took it back from me to re cook but i didn't want it so they said it would be took off the bill, which it didn't so if we didn't look we would of been charged... lot of other small issues which was annoying and not very good services, so we asked to not pay the service charge which is on there automatically.. so i left very hungry and disappointed.

I love the steak here, the chips are great too and the bbq sauce is fantastic! I would definitely recommend it to any steak lovers.

Easy booking very clean and tidy. Staff very attentive polite and helpful. Good food and reasonably priced would definitely recommend for a night out with friends or family.

All diners in my party enjoyed the meal and generally very happy with the service, will consider in future dining at Rancho. individually and in parties.

food was good, a little dry, would have preferred the ribs to be cooked in a sauce but it still tasted great. atmosphere was amazing!

Great service, excellent food. One steak was well done rather than medium rare and swapped it immediately without a fuss a gave us a free drink to say sorry.

Staff were friendly, food wasn't as Greta as previous visit. Ribs had been overcooked a bit. Very quiet at the time which was good. Garlic bread was spot on.

Little slow on the service side of things but food is lovely. Although getting mine and my partners steak cooking levels around the wrong way was not ideal. other than that food quality is brilliant.

Great steak slightly disappointing chips and it could have been a bit warmer in the restaurant. Good value wine. Overall would recommend for a good steak

good food although one steak not quite as ordered and despite being the only table occupied the service was a little fragmented at times. Would still go back in an evening. Maybe more staff are required to cover lunch..

This restaurant is the best, from the food, to the staff, the service and the ambience. It is excellent. My husband and I go regularly, even had our wedding reception there. There is nothing negative to say about this restaurant and the people who look after you.

A good atmospher for lunch time birthday meal served by Theresa quietly professional service a great change from the traditional pub lunch would go back again good steak cooked to order.

This was our first time at Ranchos and we will definitely be going back. The food and staff were lovely, would highly recommend this steakhouse!

Excellent food, best ribs ever. Friendly and professional service, and very reasonably priced. Chorizo rice is a must. Have been many times and will continue to do so.

The over atmospheres day decor was great, all the staff were really friendly and polite, 5 of us are and all loved the food, especially the ribeye and fillet steaks

While I stayed in Fareham (1 month), I visited Rancho Steakhouse every week. This is a very nice place, with really good food and with kind staff!

Fantastic night as always at Ranchos in Fareham. Great food, service and atmosphere. We’re regulars and it’s our favourite place to go for a meat filled treat.

The manager or owner was incredibly rude to his staff. But the waitresses and bar staff were very good and didn’t deserve to be spoken too like that.

Fantastic - Went for a family meal on my son's 21st - Our host was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Food was brilliant (even for me being a veggie) would definitely recommend and will be going again :)

Enjoyed it very much. Steak beautifully cooked. Service very good. Slight problem there was a large group 34 people and it was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other talk so not much conversation which was a shame

Very friendly staff but as it was unlimited rib night, it was very busy, probably too busy for the number of staff on shift. It took 40mins for the order to come out, rib refreshes involved lots of hand waving to get attention, and had to go and find a waitress to get some drinks. Shame really as we probably would have had another couple of drink rounds had service been more attentive - this is not a negative against the staff as they seemed run ragged. We had 3 Unlimited rib meals and two sirloin steaks. Steaks were cooked perfectly and a good size but the ribs were a little dry and in some cases burnt. Another night with more staff or less customers and I would rate it higher.

Food was excellent, service slightly slow, had to reorder a couple times as some staff forgot about it. Very much recommend to go to. Wednesday evening for the ribs

Excellent experience! Had a family meal booked for my boyfriends birthday and they let me decorate the table and kept his cake safe there while I went and picked him up! Fantastic food and great service

A lovely welcoming restaurant with great foods steaks are to die for lovely and tender,cocktails are delicious to would definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back 😃

We had a Lovely meal. The Waiters were friendly, a laugh and attentive. Weds unlimited ribs good value. Drinks and food order taken promptly and delivered quickly. Warm room which had a buzz.

Quick service, tasty ribs and lovely beer, everything we wanted for a lad evening. Have been a few times now on normal evening and now on ribs night, whenever you go you’ll get good service and food 100%!

Very quick service, very polite as well. Medium Rare was little too close to rare for me but still amazing to eat & will definitely visit again.

Food was lovely. REALLY lovely. There were only 2 things that were disappointing... The first was that although I had reserved a table, we were told the only tables left were the three in the front... We chose the one in the corner but it turns out this wasn't a good choice for a quiet date. The ice bucket was on the bar right behind my head. Every time the barman went to use the ice, he would take a big scoop then throw the scoop back into the ice. This was incredibly noisy and we get getting showered with ice. I made him aware of this and he was very apologetic and offered to move us. We didn't want to move as we were settled. May I suggest a perspex screen guard to protect diners from the noise and ice, OR maybe moving the ice bucket to the other side where no-one is sitting? The other issue was the staff, although very pleasant, were hovering... which makes you feel rushed. In fact, my starters plate was cleared before my partner had even finished eating - she was not happy. As I said at the beginning, these were the only two things, if this can be sorted we would happily give more stars :)

Great steaks, attentive service, lively atmosphere, would recommend and will definitely go again. Empanadas, spiral cut lomo was excellent, sweet potato fries, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes.

Went to Ranchos for the first time this evening and we thoroughly enjoyed it, by far the best steak we have eaten in a very long time. Cooked to perfection.

Pretty good experience. The staff were mostly friendly although a couple were a bit grumpy! Worth a visit especially for all you can eat ribs night.
