Delicious food with great service! Wide choice of dishes on the menu including traditional Turkish mezze and mains as well as a good selection from the grill. Excellent value too. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic meal! The food was incredible.. so full of flavour and the staff were extremely friendly! Our favourite was the prawn starter.. absolutely incredible mix of ingredients! 100% would recommend a​ Red Mezze meal to anyone. My girlfriend and I went together, but equally works perfectly for larger groups!

Superb service and the most wonderful food. Very good deal in the happy hour. Excellent mezze to choose from for starters, the best hummus ive ever had, with fresh hot bread. We had lamb kebabs also falafel, both delicious.

We were a party of seven. Service was really good with a very patient waitress who explained the different dishes to us. The bill proved that our visit was excellent value for money. Nothing overpriced. In fact the food was so good I ordered a carry out for my husband. We are booking again for our next 'ladies who lunch' date.

Excellent tasty Turkish food, good selection even for veggies. Always tastes fresh. The servers are very friendly and look after you well even when it is very busy. Best Falafel and cold mezze I've eaten.

Food was really good especially the bbq options. Only negative was the restaurant became very busy and wasn't really big enough to have large numbers of people standing waiting for their table - ended up feeling a bit rushed as you had people standing over you

The food here is always fabulous with lots to choose from. We usually choose a few dishes each of the mezze and share so we get to try different things and I have never been disappointed. The staff are efficient and attentive so all round a great dining experience either for lunch or dinner.

Had a really lovely meal at Red Meze excellent value for money. Will be going back soon to try another dish. Pleasant staff, nice setting .

An authentic experience! Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Enjoyed being able to book on line with Quandoo - very easy process with immediate feedback.

We're regulars here and for good reason. Excrement good, excellent atmosphere, excellent staff. I mentioned in passing that it was my partner's birthday but didn't request anything special. At the end of the meal, he was treated to a turkish pastry complete with candle as birthday cake. It's thoughtful little touches like this that make us return to this restaurant regularly

Though I am far from a regular, whenever i find myself in Newcastle i head for this place. It is consistently excellent food, lovely staff, even if it is a bit too red in terms of the decor. The cold mixed mezze and a few hot ones give a good meal for two.

I've been back to this restaurant many times. The service is always great - staff are very attentive and really care about you having a good experience. Food is always delicious and plentiful. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Good value for money every time.

Quick service, delicious food and a friendly reception. The lunchtime deal was perfect for an hour away from the office and the atmosphere supported good conversation.

Fast polite service, authentic good value cuisine and a convenient city centre location close to st James park stadium. A bit lacking in ambience though

Great food - nice service - had a pleasent summer evening sat outside, a few bottles of Effes with the meal, will definately go back !
