Excellent food and customer service in a very comfortable atmosphere.

Lovely warm ambiance, friendly helpful staff, and the Sunday Roast was exquisite - beef and veg all cooked to perfection.

Came into the restaurant for a late lunch on Sunday, restaurant only had a couple of diners and unfortunately it was very quiet, there was no background music and therefore there was no real atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was ok but the lack of ambiance made us leave after our main course which was a shame as we had read many great reviews.

If you look at what the Sunday lunch photo is on itison and what we actually were served, there is no comparison. We had 2 limp asparagus spears, hard tasteless cauliflower cheese, 3 carrots, 3 hard undercooked roast potatoes, store bought Yorkshire puddings and 2 slices of chewy beef.

The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and attentive.

Recommended for gluten free as husband Coeliac. Superb food and wonderful tastes. Excellent friendly staff. A total gem of a place. Superb choices on menu and the current 2 or 3 courses for £25 or £30 just excellent value. This will be our new go to when visiting Glasgow. 5*

Bit too noisy, was sat next to a large table of ladies, would have preferred a quieter table as it was just two of us.

I am partially deaf. The booth we were allocated was perfect as it was above the normal hustle and bustle of the restaurant and I was able to hear my friend.

Lovely restaurant and food was delicious with a great range of menus. Sadly they charged us £5 for a jug of tap water, which is not only illegal but also ruined it a bit. So I tipped the staff £5 less than I intended to. (Yes I probably should have raised it with manager at the time but I am neurodivergent and tbh doing that would have ruined it even more for me.)

First time there, and certainly won't be the last. Emily the waitress was lovely. There was a good variety on the set menu, which made it hard to choose lol. The French Onion soup was fab, as was the pork, but every dish looked fab! It was good not to be rushed between courses and look forward to returning.

Staff friendly. Menu had great options. Good ambience in room. Food amazing. Both visually and taste. We had a three course which we enjoyed everything along with a fab wine. Definitely be back and really recommend. Great value for money.

An elegant restaurant serving fantastic, delicious food. The staff are welcoming and attentive and our á la carte dinner was delicious. Great buzz about the place which was busy on a Wednesday evening. I love dining here.

Excellent food accompanied with a cocktail and carafe of red wine. Ambiance lovely enhanced with a real fire warming us on a very cold Glaswegian evening.

Food was well presented and tasted delicious. Due to the electrical issues, the restaurant was very dark and it was necessary to use my phone torch to read the menu. However I enjoyed the experience and I will definitely go back.

Another great meal, served by the lovely young woman who is always there (apologies I have forgotten your name). Accompanied by a lovely Gruner Veltliner - Funkstille and very reasonably priced.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here being in Glasgow for a short break. Cannot fault at all. Service, ambience, service and of course the food choices all absolutely excellent. Will def be back. Come on ITISON you can surely do this again!

Lovely place to eat, service is grand and the food is delicious

One of our favourite restaurants. Scallop starter was tasty. The Monkfish curry was excellent with its multitude of flavours. The Beyond Burger was good and we enjoyed the salsa, avacado and other toppings it came with, however, it didn’t taste like a Beyond Burger and its texture was not as appealing - much dryer than the Beyond Burgers we are familiar with. Just wondering if it was a different plant burger or maybe it was just the cooking technique that changed the burger to a taste and texture we didn’t expect (two of us ordered the burger). Atmosphere was calm and made it a relaxing place to eat.

Great meal and service , unfortunately the dinner at the next table was extremely loud , the rest of the restaurant could hear his conversation with the other 3 people at his table.

Omg the most amazing food. My partner and I went with a itison voucher and it was a Sunday roast for two.. stunning. Meat cooked to perfection and everything so fresh. The staff were so lovely and attentive. Will definitely be back!!

Service was good, food and wine were very average. Felt like not a lot of it was fresh, possibly frozen and fried. For £90 I would expect a higher quality.
