Beautiful surroundings, really great food, attentive service and sparkling company!

Great food, great atmosphere, great company. One of our favourite restaurants.

Attentive friendly staff. Came to the table at the right time. Good knowledge of the food and wine, both servers (f) were funny and chatty. The food was delicious. Piping hot and the salad/greens were fresh and crunchy. The steak was done to perfection and the frozen berry and white chocolate desert was the business. There was a nice ambiance about the place and the temperature of the restaurant was perfect (it was a cold night)?

Lovely restaurant warm & cosy. We had the Sunday roast was delicious. Definitely be back.

Didn't get the waiters names, but they were all absolutely amazing and incredibly attentive. Me and my partner shared a wonderful meal and the lighting was good. Hats off to the chefs as they really pulled it all together with mouth melting braised beef (myself) and a crispy goats cheese salad with trufle honey (partner). Yum yum yum

Delicious food and great atmosphere at Red Onion today. My first visit.

First visit to Red Onion and we will definitely be back . We shared the prawn starter followed by the Sunday roast with extra side of mac n cheese . Food was so good really enjoyed it . The restaurant was decorated beautifully all around and the fire was our stand out favourite !! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience

As a coeliac dining out it is great to have such a choice of dishes. The staff are all very attentive and the restaurant has a lovely welcoming vibe.

Excellent service from all the staff. Food as usual was first class and a good atmosphere. When going to the concert hall we always try to use the Red Onion.

Excellent visit to the red onion yesterday. Both the food and service was delicious. The atmosphere was very cosy with the lit fire. The wine was delicious and so much choice as well. Can’t wait for our next visit back

Lovely meal on what was a horrible night. My only quibble is that the picture over the fire place is slightly crooked & off-centre.
