Excellent food , service and great atmosphere, value for money.

Went for early dinner. Food was good and service was prompt and friendly

We selected this restaurant because of had a separate vegan menu. The food was great as was the ambience. Service was dependant on which server was at our table but more than satisfactory.

Lovely relaxed Saturday lunch, really good value. Food was great, really good and varied choice on the set menu. Staff were excellent and dealt really kindly with my two little grandsons.

Table booked for a 40th celebration, have worked with the chef many years ago doing the Marks and Spencers promotion for the Glasgow Cook book so new the food eoukd be good . Tye chizario crisp with the scallops ong the flavour. Then the duck with.mushroom jus and Pakchoi best man's I have had in ages . The cheese board puts a certain west end 5 star hotel near Gattnavel Hospital to shame , will have again .. The staff were delivering high standards most importantly yrt very friendly

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Bang bang chicken salad, French onion soup, chicken korma and featherblade of beef. Everything was delicious and good value. Definitely recommend a visit.

The main of steak frites with a supplement was easily the worst main course served for some time ! Over salted chips , tiny steak not worth cooking and a plate full of rocket with a burnt tomato on top . The chef either couldn’t have been bothered or/and was having a bad night either way there are better options in town for a meal . Starters , desserts and service couldn’t fault .

Our dinner here was AMAZING! I felt so reassured that my gluten and dairy allergies were taken seriously, and the food was phenomenal. I even had 4 different desserts to choose from that were exquisite. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

First timed eating at Red Onion. Used an Itison deal and was not disappointed. Food was amazing, choice was great and staff were friendly and polite. They didn’t hurry us through our meal or off the table at the end. Nice atmosphere in the place too. Will definitely be back!

Booked an Itison Sunday lunch then added an extra guest for a la carte menu, no problem at all. Friendly and efficient staff. All food was lovely and hot and truly Pdelicious. Roast beef was lovely and tender. Soups and desserts also delightful! would definately recommend restaurant, and will return.

Beautiful location, delicious food and great service! Our server was great, offered suggestions and recommendations to our group and nothing was too hard. We had a wonderful dinner for our last night in Glasgow and highly recommend making a reservation here.

The starter was fantastic. I had been waiting to visit here for a long time. Main course was also amazing. Only draw back was that the restaurant had a funny smell which somewhat put me off. I've no idea what it was, but could smell it the whole way through the evening.

Both the food and the service were excellent. Lovely range of non-alcoholic drinks meant you can still have something a bit special to match the food.
