As always the food, service and atmosphere was first class.

It the usual high standard we enjoy. We were given the wrong menus at first. My steak had far too much fat and gristle. GIVE THEM THEIR DUE I GOT A REPLACEMENT WHICH WAS OK. The Gents toilets were disgustingly smelly.

Very efficient and friendly service. We all enjoyed our meal and would be happy to return.

Never disappointed at red onion snd lovely to have the fish on special at the same price I pay my local for a takeaway

Tempura prawn starter was outstanding. Followed by the slow cooked shin of beef which was ok. It was tender but a wee bit dry and not enough sauce. I don’t know that this dish needs haggis mash, it makes it a bit rich. Staff were lovely and friendly but a couple of things disappointed. We asked for water and never received any. The wine and glass was just sat at the edge of the table, non of it poured. The courses also came out too quickly. The restaurant wasn’t that busy and a wee rest in between would be good. We have loved our previous visits though.

Staff were very friendly we where late due to bad weather not a problem food was fantastic best risotto for a while Wine was more expensive than I would have liked but worth it overall

The whole experience was excellent . Fast and efficient ahead of a theatre visit . Set menu has excellent choice and is great value for money . Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and gave great service. This was a return visit for us - and we will definitely return .

I enjoyed my meal. Service was very good. Only disappointing part was receiving my gin in what I would call a juice glass instead of a gin goblet.

We selected this restaurant because of had a separate vegan menu. The food was great as was the ambience. Service was dependant on which server was at our table but more than satisfactory.

Lovely relaxed Saturday lunch, really good value. Food was great, really good and varied choice on the set menu. Staff were excellent and dealt really kindly with my two little grandsons.

Table booked for a 40th celebration, have worked with the chef many years ago doing the Marks and Spencers promotion for the Glasgow Cook book so new the food eoukd be good . Tye chizario crisp with the scallops ong the flavour. Then the duck with.mushroom jus and Pakchoi best man's I have had in ages . The cheese board puts a certain west end 5 star hotel near Gattnavel Hospital to shame , will have again .. The staff were delivering high standards most importantly yrt very friendly

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Bang bang chicken salad, French onion soup, chicken korma and featherblade of beef. Everything was delicious and good value. Definitely recommend a visit.

The main of steak frites with a supplement was easily the worst main course served for some time ! Over salted chips , tiny steak not worth cooking and a plate full of rocket with a burnt tomato on top . The chef either couldn’t have been bothered or/and was having a bad night either way there are better options in town for a meal . Starters , desserts and service couldn’t fault .
