Excellent food, staff friendly and knowledgeable, always a great night at the Red Onion

We use the restaurant regularly due to proximity, good food and service, and value for money.

It was OK - just OK - didnt excite or inspire so to be honest wouldnt rush back! Nothing wrong either - the wait staff were efficient but lacked character - the food was tasty but lacking in inspiration.

Went for a pre-theatre two-course meal and food was lovely and service great. Definitely be back.

The food we had here was of a high standard with good quantities. A good wine list and attentive staff. I liked the simple menu. The restaurant is also in a great location for those wanting to have a night out on the town. We felt we got good value for money.

I’ve been to this restaurant before but yesterday’s lunch was outstanding and amazingly good value. Bang Bang Chicken salad to start followed by Swedish meatballs-delicious. Would I go again? YES.
