Red Onion

Had a fabulous lunch at Red Onion. The food is delicious. All dietary requirements are catered for including a superb gluten free menu. Will be back again soon!

My first time at the restaurant but it won’t be my last. The staff were great very friendly and attentive , the food was delicious. We had the fixed menu which was great value and a nice bottle of wine that was one of a good selection of very reasonable priced wines. I would recommend a visit.

Great night at Red Onion, the team is a credit to John and the restaurant. First class service and food to match.

Food was lovely however restaurant was quiet and head chef came out and spoke to the other table asking how their food was but ignored us. Made to feel we weren’t worthy of his time. Won’t be back

Food good, staff very nice and efficient. Noise due to a party of six women who were all very loud.

I visit quit3 a few times a year and am choose from the set menu. I think it’s time to vary the menu a little bit.

We had a lovely meal with a great choice on the menu. Friendly staff and we weren’t pressured for time.

Lovely meal at Red Onion . For starters I have French Onion soup which was excellent. Just what was needed needed to warm me up on a cold day. The main course I had was the Sunday Roast with lovely beef and some of the best roast potatoes I have had . The staff were great , friendly and attentive. Great place for a meal

I dint est meat di as usual there was a Limited menu option for me, 1 dish. No tofu tempeh seitan on offer. The mushroom risotto was very nice, but 1 option is just sad.

Fab staff - couldn’t be better at ensuring comfort and being there - but non intrusive. Great food too. I’d never been but will def be back.

Beautiful Restaurant. Staff lovely snd very attentive. Steak with a side of Garlic butter was amazing. Cooked to perfection. Huge portion crispy onion rings. Excellent all round. Highly recommend.

Lovely warm welcome & the Steak Frites were perfectly cooked & my daughter loved the chocolate brownie . John Quigley even popped over for a chat ! We will be back .

I had a Sunday roast voucher for 2 as a Christmas gift. The starter a shared tempura dish was excellent, could have ate that all night. Main course again was in my mind faultless, not overly keen on cauliflower cheese as a veg, my first time of eating this. Also had a very nice desert. Staff were attentive and not intrusive, a really good night out. Next visit I shall treat my family to the same experience.
