I enjoyed my meal, it was part of an it ison voucher and the choices were awesome, I had onion soup and steak frittes (£4 supplement) I had no room for pudding but I liked the choices available, maybe next time. My husband had scallops and steak frittes which he also enjoyed.

Staff were very pleasant and attentive Starters were lovely we both ordered the steak at an extra charge on menu unfortunately it wasn’t good my husbands got taken back and replaced but it wasn’t much better very grizzly they did take it off the bill. Overall we enjoyed and probably go back but NO STEAK

Food and service was fantastic. I am coeliac and the gluten free menu has a great range of dishes. A refreshing change to have so much to choose from instead of having to take what you can. Well done Red Onion.

Delicious food served promptly by very nice waitress. We had a nice table by the fire and the lovely calm atmosphere made it a lovely experience. Dem.finitely value for money and I would go again.

Visited on a Tuesday night. It was quiet. Service was good. We were happy with our food. We did feel the pork main was a little small.

Never had a bad meal or service here and been going for years. Never had the Sunday roast before but honestly the best one I’ve ever had. 100% recommend and will definitely be back again for the Sunday roast.

My husband and I love it here. We have been coming for over 10 years and the food, service and staff are always 10/10.

Lovely decor inside, very attentive staff, had the choice of set menu or A La Carte and there was also the Sunday roast choice. We both had a starter liver parfait and french onion soup which was delish, we both had the Sunday roast which was amazing and then we both had dessert one banana cheesecake and one raspberries with hot white chocolate sauce. We both agreed this was the best meal we’d had in a long time, we will 100% be back well done John Quigley & Team

Had a fabulous lunch at Red Onion. The food is delicious. All dietary requirements are catered for including a superb gluten free menu. Will be back again soon!

My first time at the restaurant but it won’t be my last. The staff were great very friendly and attentive , the food was delicious. We had the fixed menu which was great value and a nice bottle of wine that was one of a good selection of very reasonable priced wines. I would recommend a visit.

Great night at Red Onion, the team is a credit to John and the restaurant. First class service and food to match.

Food was lovely however restaurant was quiet and head chef came out and spoke to the other table asking how their food was but ignored us. Made to feel we weren’t worthy of his time. Won’t be back

I visit quit3 a few times a year and am choose from the set menu. I think it’s time to vary the menu a little bit.
