Had a great lunch and day out with girls. Food was amazing. Only negative was being rushed out the door. We were well aware of 2hr tilme limit. We were given our bill 20 mins before time limit was up.

Lovely meal as usual but pretty quiet on a Sunday evening- maybe lack of a pre -theatre menu and no booze allowed putting people off .

I often go to this restaurant food wasn’t as good

Smiling and efficient service. Enough attention during the meal but not intrusive. Food, well presented and staff well briefed on allergies etc (good knowledge e.g. of soya and dairy ingredients as 1 of our party is intolerant to both). Overall a lovely time, and will return for an evening sometime soon. Well done to all.

We had a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Social distancing measures have been well thought through whilst retaining a lovely ambiance. The waiting staff were knowledgeable and attentive and John was the perfect host. He took time out to ensure all the diners were being looked after okay. The food was superb. I had the scalllops from the specials menu as a starter , duck from the mains and the cheeseboard. Having dined in many of the top restaurants in Glasgow i would definetely recommend this restaurant as one of my favourites. We will definately be returning soon. Probably needs to be before further lockdown rrstrictions are put in place !. Well done to John and his team. It was great to be reminded that we can still have special evenings in this current climate !

Great hospitality, great food and a great vegan menu for those of a plant-based persuasion. Would go back tomorrow and have it all over again.

We booked the Red Onion for a mid week lunch. Excellent food and service as always. The restaurant was very quiet, such difficult times during this pandemic. Keep up the good work, we shall return!

Wasn’t convinced about the salad on risotto but that’s a personal choice, others might love it.
