Food was great and so was the service no complaints would recommend

The ribs where deep fried and very little MEAT and covered with breadcrumbs

Waiting time between starters and main course was 40 minutes. Service was very slow last night trying to get staffs attention for a drink and to pay the bill was a nightmare.

Fantastic as always, treated by owners as old friends. Food quality to the usual great standard and seated quickly on arrival. Always come here for special occasions. They do a great value lunch also, good size portions and same great quality.

Love love love the food at the Richmond Oriental we’ve been going as a family to this Restaurant for over 30years and we’ve Celebrated many Milestones there too. It’s also lovely that the same family have owned it since the beginning and we’ve watch Chloe grew

We got the table we requested even though we arrived slightly late. Great atmosphere, slight wait to be served but the restaurant was very busy. Food was fantastic, delicious and hot. Service was very good and very courteous. Will definitely return.

The food was lovely as usual, I felt the experience was a bit rushed however the restaurant was busy. We had a starter and main meal but noone came back to ask if we wanted a sweet. It was also cold in the restaurant, and this made us uncomfortable.

Throughout the year I have been to 'The Richmond Oriental' restaurant mostly for take away food. It never disappointments me when I go there. For the past couple of years I've used this restaurant for special occasions booking a table for me and my family as I enjoy eating the food here. The place always has a good atmosphere where staff are welcoming/friendly, the service is very good, the food is always of a good quality and tastes great. I don't use any other Chinese restaurant as I prefer this to others that I've tried previously. My family also like this restaurant to go to when I suggest it. Keep up the good work everyone!!

We were sat at back or the kids corner. So couldn’t hear or enjoy the meal. Even the waitress couldn’t hear us.

Not as good as it once was. Menus and chairs a bit tatty. Needs some decorative work. Food definitely not as good as times gone by.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, however my husband’s crispy chicken fried rice (a new addition to the menu) seemed to be missing the crispy chicken bit!

Overall we were very pleased with our visit to the Richmond Oriental. It wasn’t our first visit so we knew it would be a lovely night with first class meals and excellent service from the staff and these are always good signs that will ensure we will be back again.

I have been frequenting the Richmond for over 30 years, and took some of my work colleague's for lunch ( their first visit ) and all really enjoyed the experience - food is absolutely perfect as always. Very busy, service was a bit slow to start but picked up once we eventually ordered.

We were welcomed by a pleasant young man and shown to our table, a waitress came and took our drinks order right away. Our meal was brought to us very quickly and I must say we all enjoyed our meal. The pre theatre meal had a great choice. What we did like was we were not rushed not like some restaurants where you only have a table for a set time. Overall our experience at the Richmond was lovely and we will be back.

We telephoned as we were running late but the restaurant held our table for us. Food and service were terrific. When leaving we had a wait for our taxi and the very pleasant lady on reception tried to get us an alternative taxi which was appreciated. We hadn't been to the Richmond for a while but we will certainly be back soon.
