Excellent authentic Japanese food in elegant surroundings. Friendly, helpful staff too! We have visited on numerous occasions and it never disappoints. The lunchtime menu is excellent value!

Once again Ogino served up a superb meal, selected from an excellent varied menu. The food is delicious, cooked to perfection and is very well presented in mouth-watering fashion. The staff were knowledgable , attentive and friendly, the ambience was very acceptable. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

This was our third visit over the past few months. Our menu choice has been varied and without exception the food has been excellent. The staff are obliging and attentive and the décor is aesthetically pleasing.

It was our first visit to Ogino and we had an excellent time. Courteous, unobtrusive service, great food and a lovely atmosphere. Will certainly be going again.

An excellent evening. The restaurant was busy but the staff were very attentive. The food was superb. We were offered some free soup when the chef was unhappy with the beef dish ordered as he would have to do another dish. Our table was ready when we walked in and booking online was very easy with an email reminder the day before. Highly recommended.

Number 1 on Trip Advisor and rightly so. Fantastic 3 course dinner for 6 of us using a travelzoo voucher. We dined on a Thursday night the wait time was spot on. The 6 of us all had different dishes and compliments were given throughout. The head waiter i presume that is his title was absolutely spot on he knew exactly what he was talking about when describing the dishes and conveyed it in a genuine manner. Brill service brill Japanese. See you next time.

If you want a dining experience of the finest order then you MUST visit Ogino,this is by far the best restaurant in Beverley in my view. Top quality food with top quality customer service. As you would expect this will be reflected in the price but given the very high standards this is value for money. Perhaps not for everyone's pocket but if you want something really special this is definitely the place to go. Have visited Ogino on several occasions. Will I be visiting again? You bet!!

Ogino has a good ambience. There's plenty of space and it's comfortable. The menu is extensive and takes some time to 'digest'. The food is beautifully prepared and cooked, with sensible gaps between courses. Service is very good but unobtrusive. All requests were quickly addressed. There are a couple of minor niggles: the total lack of any Japanese cooks/chefs/staff and rather too many slates to eat off. Overall, though, an excellent evening for five of us.

Service to start was polite, table ready straight away. The food and wine gorgeous as always! Next time, thinking of pre ordering as some dishes are pre order only but wasn't aware. Always a recommendation to go, any occasion!

The ambience of the restaurant is very crisp, clean and as you would expect oriental. The waiters were very polite and informative about the food, they explained everything. Be careful with any travelzoo deals or whatever you may have, it doesn't include side orders or drinks. But nevertheless you'll enjoy yourself I'm sure, we would definitely go back.

The service was great; food presented well; the tempura light and tasty; duck breast rather underdone. The cod in delicious broth very enjoyable (goes well with steamed rice); sushi and sashimi platter just nice. Try the fried rice which was very nice. Well done Ogino!

Best restaurant in Beverley by a country mile! Ogino's just keeps on giving & exudes quality from reception to final goodbye. We will be back!

I Booked a table for my partners 30th Birthday and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the waiting staff were very pleasant. we were seated in a booth which made for a a very Special evening.

Wonderful from start to finish, polite welcoming and efficient staff, then the food arrived a picture on the plate and didn't disappoint in taste and quality. A must for those looking for something exciting and different.

Overall v good ambiance and food but whole experience ruined by refusal to issue a credit note for our outstanding balance for our voucher. Poor.
