We keep coming back once a month as a little get together to have the blazing saddlers platter. Massively recommended. Already booked twice more! Favourite place in Southampton.

Fantastic food. We have never had a bad meal here. T-Rex steak was amazing, I would happily recommend this restaurant to anybody. Yum yum yum

Great food, great prices, fast, friendly service, lovely atmosphere, authentic steak house, have been to the USA muliple times and if you want to experience how they do bbq food over there then this is the place to go, be going back for more 😁

We didn't realise there was a featured menu on a Thursday and 2 of our party didn't want was on offer so they cooked our burgers especially. Excellent service. Good good.

My first choice from the menu was not available. The wait for the food was over an hour. When I ordered a coffee, I was told the machine is already turned off at 9 pm. Would not recommend it, was a shame as I had heard such great reviews.

Nice place for food and the quality of food was fantastic. Slightly disappointed to have a very long wait after ordering even though we had pre booked and also to hear certain things on the menu were sold out. Staff apologetic, would definitely return but would hope for a speedier service.

Had a blast with the Romanian waiter & the chef with a face piercing (sorry I didn't get names) both made our night! See you again soon!

We usually go to sadlers on a Thursday night once a month for the blazing sadlers. However, this time we went for the bears grill. It did not disappoint. It was incredible. 4 of us shared it, and we managed to polish it off. We were stuffed but satisfied afterwards though.

Yeah first time we've used this resteraunt and we very pleased service was prompt and friendly meals were of a fair size and tasty all round good will be going again

So perfect. We had the ribs & for starter, macaroni & cheese balls & the buffalo wings. Everything was cooked to perfection & our meal was not rushed at all.

A bit rough and ready but the food is good and plentiful and the service was very friendly. Not our first time there as we like it!

We booked in advance and were seated almost immediately after arriving which was great on a busy Saturday, we had a chance for a beer before our main course came out which we all thoroughly enjoyed, the ribs were amazing! Definitely would come back again!

Services was slow we waited a long time for our meals. my prawns where very greasy as well. It was ment to be my birthday meal but didn't stay after as was not please so went else where

Very nice Thursday Bbq menu to enjoy with friends could do with some vegetarian choice too on the platter but very good quality and quantity too.

Music to loud couldn't hear people talking and lights were turned down so was to dark for eating. Platter was served on a plate food.

Loved it best place to eat in Southampton by far would recommend this place 100% staff are friendly and do anything for you without a problem.

Nice place to eat and drink, although it was a little cold in there in December, perhaps turn up the heating? Saturday 2nd December 2:30pm and they only had three beers on and four taps idle! Not what I'd expect from a Craft Brewhouse. Food choice was good, although one of the items ordered was not available and my pulled pork and fries was just tepid, again not great. Staff were friendly and effective.

Great food and brilliant atmosphere, bear grill for four people was really reasonably priced and the beer was great too! Will be recommending to friends and family

Since the last time i went the menu has changed and prices have gone up. They got rid of the garlic mayo :( might not bother going again given the amount of good restaurants in Southampton now.

This is the third or forth time I have visited, and before now, everything has been good.Although service was friendly, they did not say they had run out of the hot sauce, and therefore one of our party ended up with just a cheese burger. When questioned once served "yeah, we've run out of that". If they had told us, they would have ordered something else. Also same with the Bear Grill, we've always really liked the Chorizo but this time just got normal sausages - not pre-warned and when question got a "yeah we've run out of those as well". The rest was nice enough, but not the usual experience. Unlikely to return until we are convinced they are back to standard.

Lovely meal! Food was unbelievably good, catered well for a party of nine. Would definitely go back there. Bears Gryll was massive! Didn’t have room for a desert

Great food, very surprising a bar which boasts 60+ beers and 70-odd spirits doesn’t have a drinks menu; having to get up and order at the bar isn’t the best service!

Menu limited as a Thursday night and unfortunately there were limitations as delivery of rice meant only one veggie option which was far too spicy .

Very tasty! Had the sharing platter for 2 between 3 of us. It was plenty. Good beers on tap too. Food is not cheap, but is good quality.

This was not the best time I have experienced at sadlers. Some of the food was a bit dry, but the customer service was still great and beers as always amazing. Shame as I always raved about it to my girlfriend so her first experience wasn't great. She will return though as I know it is usually top notch.

Yet again we went back for the 'BLAZING SADLERS THURSDAY NIGHT PLATTER'. We have been many times before, for this and for other meals, and yet again this did not disappoint. For £12 the amount of food you get each is great. 2 buffalo wings, gammon, bourbon pulled pork, hot links sausage and (my favourite) the garlic and herb chicken thigh. And of our party added the steak this time too, and I think I will be adding it next time again. All with a lot of chips and coleslaw and salad. I mustn't forget the delicious corn bread either. That is a great addition to it. This time I had the new (I think it was a special) beer called FIRE CATCHER. very nice. Although all of the sadlers beers are great. We come once a month for the Thursday platter, and they seem to just get better and better (this week was the best!) I can't recommend Sadlers enough.

Great food but when asking to take away the leftovers they never retured it to us, for the price you pay i was a bit disappointed. Overall, great service and good food.

We had high hopes after looking at the menu online. However, we booked a table for a Thursday for a birthday meal and was very disappointed to learn, after we arrived, that the full menu was not available. You could only choose from a £12 or £24 platter, or 3 other main meals. Having said that the food was very nice - particularly the gammon on the platter. Another annoying thing was the choice of dessert. We were told we could have either chocolate cheesecake or lemon gateau. We ordered a couple of cheesecakes but when they were brought out it was chocolate gateau. We asked about the cheesecake but was just given a shrug of the shoulders and an “I don’t know why the waitress said it was cheesecake, we don’t have cheesecake” and he walked away. I know Sadlers has a laid back feeling, but I mean there’s laid back, and there’s disregard for your customers.

great relaxed atmosphere great tasting food and a fantastic choice in ciders and beers to taste good value all round good experience would definitely recommend this place for a more relaxed meal

Bbq platter is always good, lots of meat. I hate Flanders

Not as good as usual i'm afraid, food was waiting on kitchen side under lights and wings were no where near as nice as usual.

Fantastic wings they are amazing brilliant service. I'm not a beer drinker but had some really nice beers. Defently coming back. Already having wing withdraw symptoms.

We booked Sadlers after recommendations from friends and we were not disappointed! The service was excellent and waiters and waitresses very friendly! The food was amazing and we will definitely be back!

Fan bloody tastic. Great food and our two girls were made very welcome. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Great service and choice of drinks was immense.

Food was not very good had been reheated from earlier in the day very dry and 1 chicken burger was inedible. The bear grills platter had a mix of meats on it the Hammond was so dry couldn't even cut it, was no pulled pork or chicken the waitress had no clue about the food we was asking questions about the beef burger was ok round the edges but the middle was so over cooked was awful. Will never go there again when visiting Southampton.

Good food & really great value for money! You will certainly never leave this place still feeling hungry! A nice selection of unusual beers/ales too.

Always great food and service - our kids love it and when asked where should we go for dinner tonight they shout saddlers. The pulled pork is awesome and the beers are great too.

Very nice!! Very quick to get food to table. Quality was amazing. Would happily be spending my money here again. Turkey on the platter is not needed.

Really great value and excellent food - you can taste and see the quality in everything. Service is friendly and fast, we were made to feel very welcome. We'll most certainly be coming back and would recommend Sadler's to everyone. Top marks!
