The staff is always very friendly and helpful, wine selection changes almost everyday and they are very knowledgeable about their wines. Perfect place for a drink out of the Shoreditch crowds.

We had a really nice evening here. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere, good music and service, as well as an interesting selection of unusual wines. Didn't eat but the food looked really good.

Great wine selection, engaged interested staff, small space so the fact they take bookings was a total bonus, also good bread, will be going back agian soon.

We love the atmpsphere, friendlyness and great service whenever we're back at S+W. Could only wish we lived a little bit closer - we're already looking forward to our next trip and new wines by the glass!

Well trained staff and attentive owners. Not cheap but a pleasant way to spend an hour or three. Wines that you would have difficulty finding elsewhere.

Great wine bar, unpretentious, fantastic selection of wines by the glass. A real gem and well worth a visit if you're around Hoxton, Shoreditch or Bethnal Green.

Intimate and delicious. Like having a glass at your trendy friend's house... Who also happens to me be a secret detective. Go get your wine and cheese on!

Great! Wines were delicious. Waiters were very knowledgeable about the wines. The nibbles were delicious. And had a nice New York vibe, super cozy and all around great atmosphere

Service Excellent, lively and interesting place with good varied food and an interesting wine list. Having been to sister venue The Mission (now renamed I think) in Bethnal Green our expectations were high. Wine wasn't quite as good or as 'different' as we expected and eating lots of little plates and drinking wine by the glass soon sent the price up. £100 for two a bit people before service seemed steep. Would recommend though just explaining why not top marks.

Great vibe, great wines, expensive but given London prices worth it. A great experience in a fun bar. Staff have great knowledge of wines. Must visit

Great wine, really friendly service and lovely atmosphere! We also really liked the mystery wine - the waiter's pick I think! It's quite cosy so there isn't much space to put away coats but that's the only negative comment I can make!

I love this place! It was my boyfriend's birthday and I chose to come here because I wanted something relatively low-key, small and warm, great wine...and great toasties. The staff are lovely, really helpful and friendly. We will be back soon :)

Really lovely atmosphere and decor. It wasn't too busy either, considering it's location and the time we went. Nice wine (maybe a little expensive) and lovely staff.

Nice wine bar with some tapas to share. The food was quite enjoyable, and the venue has a cozy feeling in a modern setting. The wine is definitely the highlight, the bartender and staff definitely knew what they were serving.

It's a very nice and hip looking place. Very small and the chairs are pretty uncomfortable and it's really loud in there. The food is nice although it'd be great to have some more variety. The wine is excellent. But all pretty pricy. We were 4 people and walked out with a huge bill. We asked for wine recommendations and the bottles that were recommended were super expensive. It was a bit disappointing that they didn't tell us about the price. Overall a nice place but I wouldn't go there again. There are much nicer places that are less pricy.

Very intimate and small place with an amazing wine list of some 400+ references! Very local and friendly. The only downside from my side was the very limited selection of wines by the glass (7 reds and 7 whites) and the small nibble/food selection. Probably because my expectations were higher from feedback received. Other than that, really nice. Quite pricy as well. I would however go back again!

Cool wine bar that is stocked with difficult to get and funky wines. You will be hard pressed to find a staff that knows more about their product than this group. Highly recommend.

Great wine and good atmosphere. Try the Californian Pinot Noir with the cheeseboard! It would be great if you had more choice by the glass.

I liked this place a lot. Very good music. Great wine and cheese toasties. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon but still had a good vibe.
