Very Friendly and helpful staff. They have a Huge choice on the menu so something for everyone.. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great price. Worth a visit.

A very friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was extremely helpful especially as she thought there was only two specials left which we wanted- she dashed off to tell her colleague that they were taken. Much appreciated.

Very busy but we did not have to wait long for food which was very good. Only one mix up with order for one of the party.

We had starters followed by 4 pasta main courses. The food was very tasty and the service was timely and friendly. Prices not too bad either. Would definitely go again.

Food was excellent, staff friendly and efficient. However the noise level was so much we were yelling at each other to be heard. I appreciate there were a lot of people there from the Gosforth races but the previous time there it was just the same, possibly because of it being a small narrow restaurant.

The atmosphere and premises were great but ultimately the food was poor,lacking rich Italian flavours. I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends anytime soon.

Good service, atmosphere and variety of vegetarian options. We enjoyed our meal and will visit again soon. It's busy so book ahead if you go on an evening.

The Food was very good. The Staff were very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the seats were too close together. I will definitely be back again.

Varied menu, good service, amiable ambience, quiet at lunchtime. Fantastic pannacotta. The new San Lorenzo is so much nicer, brighter and a happy place to go.

Another excellent meal and speedy service last night despite the restaurant being totally full. The staff went the extra mile to make my father in law's 92nd birthday really special. Keep up the good work folks! Thanks x

Great food, however the manager was quite rude to me and my friends at the end of our meal, which ended our meal negatively. For a manager, he should have been much more friendly, personable and welcoming!

Food was good, staff and service was good too, we found it a very noisy experience however, we were shouting across the table to hear one another.

Quick service, very helpful staff, very good food. The kids loved making their pizza and were entertained between waiting for starter and main course with colouring which made the experience more pleasant. The children couldn't finish their meals due to large portions but got them wrapped up to take home which was handy.

Excellent food and good service... went on a Monday evening so the management maybe underestimated the number of staff required, as we were a little slow to be served to start with, but I would definitely recommend.

The service was very good. Meal lovely. The only thing was it closed at 10.00 pm, we would have liked to stay longer and maybe have another few drinks.

The restaurant is lovely and bright, the staff were helpful and there when you needed them. Food was really delicious and good value for money.

Service was quick and friendly. The food was nice, although there are other Italians on the High Street that I would say are slightly better. The portion sizes for the starters were generous.

Amazing, the family all had a fabulous meal. Everything was tasty from the Sunday dinner (amazing pink beef and tasty gravy) to the kids pasta. So glad san Lorenzo is back!

I took my family for afternoon lunch and it did not fail to deliver. Three of us ordered from the early bird lunch menu and my six year old from kids menu. He got to make his own pizza and wear a chefs hat provided by the staff. Needless to say it was the best pizza ever (according to him and the manager) We had starter and pasta main which was delicious. Total bill including soft drinks for everyone was £44. Great value in my books. We've been a few times to San Lorenzos and will continue to visit. Highly recommended.

Fabulous! Food was excellent and service was just right. Pizzas were big and really good, bruscetta was to die for! Going back again this weekend!

Friendly and efficient staff even during a very busy lunch service. Food was delicious as always and you have confidence that in trying something new you will not be disappointed. Most excellent.

This is our favourite restaurant on Gosforth high st ànd we always enjoy our visit. It was buzzing at 6.30 when we arrived but were served immediately with a lovely bottle of Merlot and very tasty food as always. The staff are all friendly and attentive and the bright new decor adds to a very pleasant evening out.

The meal was excellent. Service the very best and a great atmosphere. Will be back for sure. Must not forget that it was great value for money.

Back for our weekly visit! This restaurant will always be my first choice it simply ticks all the boxes. Great food, atmosphere, customer service and value for money.

Food and service excellent. We had all 3 courses and everyone of them was of a high standard. All of our party thoroughly enjoyed the evening

The food and service were lovely and liked the busy atmosphere! The only disappointments were the price of my glass of wine was £6.10 which I found very overpriced for Pinot Grigio and I don't like the fact that you have to pay for side dishes to make up your main course. However, I will go back in future as the meal was very tasty!
