The Silk Route restaurant on Birmingham’s Dudley Port is an international buffet restaurant that is proving to be hugely popular with Dudley locals. Bringing together the flavours of Europe, Asia and a handful of British dishes, this is a serious buffet. There are plenty of places offering Asian buffet, but Silk Route stands out with the sheer range of dishes, cooked fresh on site each day, on offer for lunch and dinner.
My First time visit here the host was friendly and she lets us choose our Table The food was not bad but short of choice should have more, puddings are nice.Silk Route is Quite Small Resturant compared to other Buffet Restaurants In Dudley the Resturant and Tables is very Clean and its well look after. I had a 10% percent voucher knocked of my friends bill I download the voucher on Their web site.I Would definitely returning back.
Beautiful location with nice open walking spaces perfect for disabled dinners like myself and the food was second to none. I would happily visit again .
The food here was top quality and hot, unlike a lot of buffets. Service was good and the booking went through fine. Nothing to complain about at all. Will be back again
Tipton’s Silk Route is a classic buffet restaurant with ambition. Serving dishes from across Europe and Asia and drawing on traditional British dishes from time to time, this is a buffet with a difference. Affordably priced and with plenty of special offers (dine in the week for the best discounts) this is a family favourite on Dudley Port. Buffet restaurant conjures up images of congealing food under hot lamps, but there’s none of that here, instead dishes are prepared fresh each day on site.
Diners at Tipton’s Silk Route are impressed with the open kitchen’s interactive approach to dining. Diners are invited to ask the chefs for a freshly made naan or waffle, or request a specially put together dish with their prefered ingredients. Of course, the kitchen’s repertoire should be enough to keep all but the fussiest diners satisfied. Offering the best of European cuisine (we like the beef stroganoff), Asian (try the duck and plum sauce) and subcontinental classics (gobi aloo and chicken jalfrezi are tasty and surprisingly light options). This is a great family restaurant in Dudley Port, a short drive from Birmingham city centre.
