Silk Route Restaurant

My First time visit here the host was friendly and she lets us choose our Table The food was not bad but short of choice should have more,puddings are nice.Silk Route is Quite Small Resturant compared to other Buffet Restaurants In Dudley the Resturant and Tables is very Clean and its well look after. I had a 10% percent voucher knocked of my friends bill I download the voucher on Their web site.I Would definitely returning back.

The food here was top quality and hot, unlike a lot of buffets. Service was good and the booking went through fine. Nothing to complain about at all. Will be back again

Beautiful location with nice open walking spaces perfect for disabled dinners like myself and the food was second to none. I would happily visit again .

unfortunately due to train cancellations my partner could not arrive home in time for us to visit the Silk Restaurant. I contacted the restaurant by telephone the lady who answered was exceptionally polite and understanding, we originally changed the time for a later meal but on the second call I had to cancel the booking. However I felt that her customer service was so good we will book again and visit the Restaurant without fail hoping thje Restaurant is as good as her customer service.

Booked a table via the internet notifying them of a groupon voucher and was rung up by staff stating that that groupon vouchers could only be seated at either 5pm or 8.30pm. The vouchers did not state an exact time only between 5pm and 11pm. This really annoyed me at the start. First impressions were negative before I even got there. Once there at 8.15pm the service at the front desk was poor and the front bar area was full of dirty glasses and half eaten food which was still there when we left. Service at the front table was poor. Eventually when we got seated the restaurant was nicely presented and I couldn't believe why the restaurant rang me to change my booking time for half 8 as it was only half full. There was a good selection of Chinese, Indian and English food. I've been to better restaurants such as cosmos and ming moon for a larger choice. The food I had was hot and enjoyable. I couldn't fault the food to be honest and was well and truly stuffed at the end of the night. The two English girls who were on table service worked their socks off taking plates and drinks orders. Their service was speedy and they were very pleasant, polite, and very efficient. It was nice having a service such as that. Upon paying at the end of the evening I had a telling off at the front desk as I didn't give the groupon voucher before being seated even though I told them upon booking and told the table staff that I had one. Overall the food and table service was great and couldn't fault any of it. Only annoyance was the booking and the poor service upon entering the restaurant and upon leaving and paying. It is worth a visit if you want to stay local but I think I'd rather go to to Ming Moon or Cosmos.

Food ok not much choice small buffet restaurant but nice decor

Food is outstanding as well as the very friendly staff. We even learned how to make fans out of napkins lol. Extremely pleasant evening. Would definately go back & recommend to family & friends

I've been to silk route 4 times now and I'm pleased to it's been a great experience every time. The food is exalant and very verid and the staff are attentive and friendly. I'll be back very soon

Having read some of the reviews I went with quite high expectations which sadly weren't met. The restaurant itself is very pleasant nicely furnished with comfortable seating. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. My biggest disappointment was the food. I have been to a number of all you can eat buffets and I'm yet to find one that does really good food. The apple crumble was the best thing on the menu! That said I would probably go again and with lower expectations find it more enjoyable
