Spice Quarter

The online booking wasn’t recognised. We turned up and had to wait in the queue. We then waited 1hr for food to arrive. Not good.

Great food as always, took a little while to get our mains, but expected on rugby day! Service was always with a smile

Food is outstanding and lovely presentation staff friendly drinks a little expensive.

Has a lovely evening here, lovely atmosphere and food was delicious. Don’t think the waiter was having a good day though .... was a little “miserable’ .... I guess we all have them but it didn’t spoil our visit at all.

Arrived early but still found a table on busy rugby night, good service and decent grub for a busy city centre curry house. Top marks

Crap service waited over an hour for food and booked , but food was delicious to be fair. Drinks took forvever too , there was people complaining about service all the time

Enjoyed experience at Spice Quarter. The service was excellent, and the meal we had (Saag Gosht) was beautifully cooked - the lamb was very tender.

Good service and nice food, however the rice was overcooked and there was a lack of meat in each curry, nice atmosphere and waiters were very attentive.

Over priced, small portions, bland food and they charged a service fee which I was not aware of until I left the premises. I do not recommend this place at all.

Delicious food and amazing service!! Definitely will come back! I'd definitely recommend. We had the butter chicken and lamb vindaloo, naan bread and mushroom rice. One of the best we've had!

Lovely food and service, the restaurant has a nice decor, very clean. We had staters and mains, all beautifully cooked and presented. We shall be back soon

Great food, service was a little slow but they had some big parties in and we were a last minute booking. A welcoming atmosphere and pleasant visit.

Positiv waren die Speisen.Auch die Mango Lassi ist sehr gut. Die Earlybird Menues sind empfehlenswert. Nur auf Nachfrage gab es die Karte dafür. Männliches Servicepersonal könnte mit einem Lächeln überzeugen.

Great service with excellent food. Spoilt by a table of fools in the corner who were loud and rude. I did feel for the staff but they should of refused to serve the 3 idiots.

Appalling. That pretty much sums it up. One waitress tried her best in fairness but management were appalling and couldn’t give a damn. Gave up and left. Wok to Walk saved the evening.

The food was great. Tasted wonderful and nice portion sizes. Service was a little slow, but there were several large parties in at the time, so that is to be expected

Food was OK not enough staff in kitchen or waiting on. 1hr 50min for a few poppadoms and a main course is excessive to say the least.

Very tasty meal although quite expensive considering the size of the main courses. Service was very prompt, especially as the restaurant was full due to it being a match day in Cardiff.

Lovely food we thoroughly enjoyed our starter and main. Atmosphere good and service good too. Prices are competitive for the surrounding area. We will be back again.

Excellent meal as usual with lovely tasting food. Highly recommend is the large mixed platter as a starter for two with a large glass of Malbec.

We booked a table through online booking system for Saturday 3rd Nov, which was a very busy day in Cardiff due to Rugby Internationals and Football playing at home. However, Spice Quarter did have a table reservation for us, even though there was a huge queue trying to get a table. The food was really good, albeit a little expensive for a basic curry , and the atmosphere was very good. I would recommend trying spice quarter if you are in Cardiff!

Greeted by fab smells. Dishes were great and everyone enjoyed themselves. A properly hot dish would make it a fully rounded menu. Drinks and atmosphere was really nice

Waiter was not very pleasant drinks never all came had to keep asking again and again main food came out and then had rot wait for rice

Couldn't fault the food and service was excellent. A muddle over the bill was soon sorted out, so no complaints. Would definitely go again. In fact, looking at having a pre-Christmas meal there.

Great food, good service, little pricey but a lovely meal. Glad to have made a reservation as got pretty busy just after we arrived. Will probably visit again.

Excellent restaurant, party of 16 with a few late arrivals and a little rowdy but still excellent service and more importantly excellent food! Good time had by all!

Very nice atmosphere and lovely food. We went at a quiet time so food was a bit rushed to us perhaps we should have asked for a delay between courses.
