Good food, fast service, friendly staff. Bar area was still quite loud even when in the restaurant

Had a great meal lovely food, staff made that extra effort and made our evening extra special waitress very friendly thank you 😊

Went for the Early Bird with a Group of colleagues. Slightly disappointed that there was just one vegetarian option, although it was delicious. Service was good. Servers very attentive.

Had to wait for a pre booked table. Also the bill ( waitress forgot ). Otherwise all ok.

It would appear that the amount of tables has increased to a level that everyone is packed in like sardines, and toilets are not easily accessible.

Had lovely Sunday lunch. Very tasty, lots of good hearty veg. Slight negative, just not quite hot enough. Service was lovely. Desert was delicious. Right price, would recommend trends and family..

Sat by the door marked private told the waitress my wife needed a bit of room as on crutch’s only to find after 15 minutes a table of six is wedged right next to us every time I ate I banged my arm on the chair next to us told unnecessary the restaurant was hardly full made us I eat our food but left our chips as it was uncomfortable and cramped didn’t enjoy. Burgers were hot and good quality service to take our order bit slow . But being hemmed in unnecessarily spoilt our night couldn’t wait to get out

Food was good and you are always made to feel welcome. The bill was wrong but the waitress soon sorted it out for us.

Staff attentive, food good. As the restaurant was very busy, there was no delay on the service. The noise level was fairly High, but that created a good atmosphere.

Took my mother and father in law for an early xmas lunch. Staff were very attentive and accommodating with a table that was wheelchair friendly. Food was excellent and we will definitely be going back.

As usual we were well looked after with an excellent lunch

We were seated on arrival by a very pleasant lady called Roxanne. The service was excellent and the food was very good too. We were asked on each course if our food was ok. Thank you and well done Roxanne.

It was a lunch wuth my 2 sisters for one of theirs birthday. Food was delicious and service was excellent.

As always a really good place to eat. Good quality pub food and always friendly service. A range of guest ales on tap are welcome and reasonable wine prices too.

As above, we visit the Stamford Arms fairly regularly, which we would not if it was not so good.

Excellent food and service. Restaurant was pleasantly warm but background music much too loud.

When we arrived it was clear that they were really busy but we were seated quickly. There was a full restaurant and also a 40th Birthday Party going on but I can honestly say that the service did not suffer in any way. Everyone was friendly, attentive and found time to chat and make sure we were ok and were having a good evening. Congratulations for employing such a fantastic team!

Enjoyed Sunday lunch. Very tasty vegetarian roast as well as a choice of meat and poultry. Large helpings given and staff very friendly. Call me old fashioned but I don't be like unisex toilets.
