Another fantastic visit to Tagine - great food, atmosphere and service as always! Can particularly recommend the Chicken Pastilla as a starter and the Lamb tagine for main....

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and wonderful service. And all this despite the fact that we were a rather large group. Very impressed--we will definitely be back!

In a great location, lovely food with good range of choice, priced well, good service and buzzy atmosphere on a Saturday night, loving the BYOB too!

The food here was great, so was the service, nice atmosphere.very good decor and comfortable seating. We went during the week as l know it can get busy at the weekend. so its best to reserve a table.

What a lovely place - the decor and food was just divine! Did find the waitresses a teeny bit over enthusiastic (had 4 different girls come over in the space of 5 mins after sitting down to ask if we were ready to order) - was just catching up with my friend after I arrived and hadn't even looked at the menu so just a bit of time to settle in and read the menu would be good! But everything else was amazing! And love that you can BYOB, saves a bit on the bill! Definitely coming back!

Delicious food! A hidden gem!! Smoothest houmous and tender lamb tagine. I had the mamousnia or something... It was amazing!! The pineapple ginger mocktail was so refreshing, and the staff are very relaxed. Came for my birthday, with a party of 13, BYOB saved us so much money! Did not have time for desert as the service drinks and food was quite slow, I work in hospitality, and they didnt seem to have a "steps of service" system implemented. They also seemed understaffed (only spotted 2 wait staff while I was there) our waitress was lovely though. Nevertheless, I highly recommend and would definitely come back for their delicious foood!

Great food and great service. Lovely ambience and came out feeling very full. Word of note to everyone that it is a bring your own alcohol restaurant.

The food was amazing but the service was really slow, would go back though. It's BYO which is awesome and there's a off licence around the corner which is handy

Loved it! Warm atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated. Excellent food (ask about spiciness though!) for a reasonable price, lovely staff. Bring your wine and enjoy something different in Balham!

Great authentic moroccan food and the atmosphere was just perfect !

Noce experience, the ambient is well presented with proper furniture and music. The food was good, for quantity and quick to arrive. The waiters were kind and prompt.

I went to Marrakech last year and wanted just a taste of it again, so I Googled for a Moroccan restaurant and up popped Tagine it looked amazing inside and the menu looked great! Needless to say when I actually went there last night it was even more amazing lovely traditional back drop, even the look of the door said Morocco! The food was fab I had a fish tagine and my friend a chicken one, I highly recommend both! The atmosphere was lovely and very cosy! 10 stars from me!

Good food and friendly atmosphere. Worth going there for a birthday party...you'll discover why! I'll be back for sure soon and with a lot of pleasure!

Saturday night. Very good food but it was poor service and was not obvious it was bring your own booze until we sat down. Overall would recommend.

The food is exceptional, the staff are charming warm and friendly and venue makes you feel like you are in Morroco. It's my favourite restaurant.

Went as a group of seven and found the staff very helpful and friendly. It's a BYO which was brilliant as we were celebrating! Food was good but expected bigger started portions. mains were generous.

Really nice Moroccan ambiance and decor with tasty, authentic food and friendly service. The restaurant is BYO without a corkage fee so you have a great chance to drink the wines you truly love. We have been there many times and will be going again.

Such a lovely restaurant with great food and portions sizing, also friendly staff so I would say an overall 10! Will definitely be returning again soon!

This restaurant is beautiful, authentically decorated, a real Moroccan hub in the streets of Balham. The food was delicious, if a little on the pricey side. We took a bottle of wine as it's BYOB with free corkage, always good. The shared meze dishes were fantastic, as was the tagine and the roast aubergine for the main course. The only niggle is that the service was slow and seemed weirdly reluctant. It was quite a busy time but we shouldn't have had to wait a full ten minutes to be brought a menu. Other than that, a great place.

Love this place, staff are really friendly and easy-going, really make you feel at home, nothing is a problem for them! And the food is always fantastic. Highly recommend!

Such a great ambience, food was amazing and with plenty to eat and indoor shisha topped it off! This is my 4th visit and each visit just gets better and better. I will definitely be visiting again!

Great service and fantastic food! The lamb tagine is just amazing and melts in your mouth and the staff even did an 'off the menu' one for me to try something different. It was delicious. The staff are always so accommodating here, very good restaurant and one I visit all the time because of this.

Always a great night, food is excellent, great atmosphere. The tagines are mouthwatering, staff very efficient and is also a BYO which makes the night very reasonable too.

Really lovely atmosphere, food is a little pricey but worth it - and considering you can BYOB the bill actually ended up being a nice surprise!

I loved it. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was great, attentive but not over powering and the setting was really authentic.

Great meat meze starter and beautifully cooked Moroccan tagines. BYO is a bonus. Would recommend to others and will go again sometime soon. Give it a go!

We adore Tagine, have been multiple times over the years. The food is always excellent and atmosphere is great. There was a birthday party at the restaurant and the staff do a fun job of entertaining.

Tagine was absolutely awesome.. The food and service was so great, I can not wait to go back there and eat something different off the menu. All my friends loved it

Food was lovely, service was not. On arrival I told the gentleman who greeted us that I'd try to call earlier and that the phone number was not working. I was telling him this as an FYI/favour so that they would not miss out on business because people could not get through. He proceeded to argue with me about it and make me show him the number I used. Seriously did not care, just wanted to help him out. Service for the rest of the night continued to be poor - we ordered water 3 times before we got it. At the end of the meal, the person clearing our plates spilled sauce all over my jeans. I get that things happen as I used to wait tables. The problem was that she did not apologise or even notice what she'd done. I had to point it to her that she spilled on me and she smiled and said oh. Er - very very odd. Regardless the food was very good (although not cheap) and being able to byo was great. Would still return despite the horrendous/rude service.
