The food is very Good, but it is pretty expensive. £4 for a bottle of still water. Although the staff were pleasant enough I found them to be a little pushy. Wanting you to buy more expensive options. This spoilt the night a little for us, but as I say the food was nice

Great service and great food, I would recommend it to anyone who wants alternative Authentic Indian food, don't expect food from a takeaway, this is the real stuff.

Great service and food, very impressed with the layout of the restaurant and our table. Staff were polite and never made me feel out of place.

The welcome was warm, the service exceptional and the food was mouthwateringly good. The wine list is excellent and provides a varied choice to suit all palates. This is one of the best quality fine dining Indian restaurants around.

Me and my husband had a lovely evening from entering the restaurant to leaving everyone was very nice and helpful. I had the halibut curry which was very nice, for starters we both had the lamb skewers which was very tasty. The sommelier was very helpful and chose us an excellent wine that complemented the meal very well . The service was very good and overall a very good experience. We will look forward to returning in the near future.

This is an excellent Indian restaurant. One of the best for both food quality and service with an excellent selection of real ales and drinks.

Not impressed ! over priced an small menu with very limited items an both curries was bland taste an the the so called popadoms were size of 10 pence piece !!! ive had bigger crisps !!! we wanted to experience something different for our special occasion but was very diaspointed have had many other indian meals in many other restaurants with a wide range of menu an taste sorry we will not be returning or recomend tapasya

Great evening for a birthday treat. Service was spot on all evening and the food was absolutely delicious. My friend was particularly impressed with the wide and unusual selection of non alcoholic cocktails. All prices very reasonable making a great night exceptional value too.

Superb food, beautiful flavours. Waiting staff and sommelier did a wonderful job. Relaxed , inviting environment- modern, immaculate and stylish. We'll most definitely be back!

The service was good. Greeted upon arrival and offered drinks. Got sat at table after comfortable time choosing from menu. Food came out very quick borderline too quick. But overall good food and service.

The menu does not do the food justice. Amazing array of flavours , good attentive service in a relaxing atmosphere . Excellent selection of wines from a list that didn't try to pretend !

Absolutely outstanding. Best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Service second to none. Very modern in presentation. An amuse bouche was provided. They provide a taster menu which we will be trying on our next visit. Highly recommended.

We have eaten here on several occasions. The service is always excellent, the staff knowledgeable about the food they are serving and always give sound advice about wine to match your meal. The environment is pleasant, relaxed and paced to suit you so you can savour the excellent food. This is Indian food that is not matched anywhere else I have eaten. The open kitchen is always calm even at the busiest of times, they clearly know what they are doing. Well wort the price.

Fantastic food, the Biriyani was a show-stopper and the vegetarian dish was excellent. Excellent advice on portions and flavours and really attentive staff made this a really fantastic meal.

Always a great experience - however they ran out of halibut by 8.30, which considering the menu is quite small was disappointing on this occasion.

There was a massive party of people present. We had to wait 45mins before getting our starter and long waits between each item in the tasting menu. Restaurant was very busy. Lamb and fish dish were very tasty. We didn't understand the flavour combinations in paneer skewer. Desert was too sweet for me, but my husband enjoyed it.

My 5th time eating at Tapasya and was excellent as always. I highly recommend the taster menu with wine. In my opinion the best restaurant in Hull.

Excellent service and friendly staff. very tasty food! Especially the lamb and pepper kebabs, Thought it was very good value for money. Would recommend, slight downer was when booked online for 6pm it was there was limited spaces when got there was only one other couple in there. Would still recommend on quality alone!

Very good ambiance and very good service. Presentation of food was good, however taste was good but not very good. Was expecting much better tasty food.

Starters very flavoursome but mains very bland and menu limited - we had been told by friends that the menu was very extensive but it wasn't. Service and drinks both excellent.

Excellent food and service to match. Attentive and helpful waitresses made the experience extra special, and the food was, as always, absolutely delicious. We will be back again for sure.

My Mum (aged 88) and I were made to feel very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. A little bit of fuss and theatre to make ours a memorable visit. The food was excellent. I will definitely come back, perhaps bringing my wife and kids next time!

Really nice place, the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The food was lovely. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We'd definitely go back, although the Service was a little slow.

Very attentive service. We tried the taster menu without the wine. We had a mojito first which was delightful. It was excellent. Only two points. Firstly, the third fish starter was a little bit too hot, even for my friend who likes hot food. We scrapped the outside off and it was perfect tasty fish. Secondly, the main course was four large meat chops, which made it not a tasting size, but a main dish. I am sure that is standard, but too much for us. The chops were excellent, but two would have been enough and they could have offered extra chops for those who wanted more. Overall it was a lovely meal and location. Excellent staff. We would recommend it, but it is the high end of cuisine.
