great steaks, great value for money staff lovely would 100% recommend to anyone, probably one of the best stake restaurants in Bristol, book so your not disappointed

Over priced for what was basically just pub food. Rushed through the meal and made to feel uncomfortable. No wine list available! Disappointed with the service

Brilliant food and great prices. Staff were very friendly and overall the experience was pleasant I would highly recommend this restaurant. The only bad point was someone was doing the steak eating challenge while we were there. This meant there were a lot of people shouting and cheering throughout and this ruined the quiet romantic meal that we had planned. Maybe they should warm people of when this would be happening.

Two courses for £10. What a deal. Partner had white bait to start. I decided I was going to have a dessert rather than a starter, I ordered fish and chips partner ordered burger. We were asked if we would prefer triple cooked chips, £1 extra, or fries. We both opted for triple cooked chips. Now I know it was a cheap lunch but, there was only a small portion of everything on my plate. The chips tasted as if they had been quadruple cooked. The small ones had no potato left in them. Partner said his was ok but felt the same on the chips. When the plates were collected we were not asked how the meal was and we're not offered the dessert menu at all! Consequentially I can not say how the dessert was. We will not be going back for lunch.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Both of our steaks were cooked exactly to our requests. The service as I like it unobtrusive but always available. Will visit again.

Every thing was good service explanation of menu we were well looked after The meals came and both were very enjoyable but both the duck and cote were over cooked but did not mention it as the manager was aware

Most importantly the food was delicious!!! Felt the atmosphere was cheapened by the fairy light and laminated menus. Maybe a drinks menu on the table would be good. Otherwise lovely and would return.

The starters were great I had whitebait & my partner had deep fried Brie. We both had steak which was cooked to perfection & the triple cooked chips were amazing. We'll definitely be going again.

The food was great but service not so hot. Took a long time for food to arrive, one order was wrong, had to ask twice for condiments and had to go and ask for desert menu. Overcharged on the bill then on rectifying the bill still overcharged. Food really was lovely though.

It was nice. Lovely decoration. Steak was over cooked but straight away they changed it and the flavour of the steak was delicious. The summer fruits Eton mess was lovely.

We had a lovely pre-theatre meal at the Asheville. Wait staff/bar staff were very nice and friendly. Seems to be popular as all the tables were booked so booking is perhaps recommended. Food was excellent, would go again.

Really Excellent meal. Partner had fish and I had the T Bone - perfectly cooked and well presented. Shared the Chocolate Brownie dessert which was perfect finish to the meal. Nice atmosphere, good service. Highly recommend !!!

Stayed at The ASHVILLE overnight as we were going to a production at The Tobacco Factory. Great accommodation, arrived an hour and a quarter late due to Friday night traffic. Ashville had retained our dinner table for us, prompt and friendly service despite our lateness and only having 45mins to eat and get to the theatre. Delicious menu food excellent attentive and helpful. Nothing too much trouble thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent meal for 2, food was good. Great choice of Beers & Lagers, also great service. Can't fault the evening. The place was excellently decorated, clean and we would definitely go back soon.

This was our first time ever eating at the Ashville and we had one of the most tastiest meal we've probably ever had!. We could not fault it. Excellent service, food was good, Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Good range of real ales and a good night had. Only downside was an extremely loud group of people which marred the evening - couldn't hear our own conversation.

The Rump Steak was gorgeous and one of our group had the Rack of Ribs which he failed to eat and had a doggy bag! He commented that they were delicious. Real Ale to wash the the meals down. EXCELLENT. Will return in the near future👌
