Consistently good food and consistently good service - What more can you ask for. I'm coming here for Xmas Lunch as well so I highly recommend The Ashville

Always a fantastic meal, excellent value for money, great quality dishes, well presented and the staff make it feel like a home from home

We went on a Friday night and wondered how noisy this place would be, it was fine in the main part as there was a noisy group in the other section. The food was really good, we were not told was what not available so I couldn't have my original starter but the alternative soup was really nice as was the chicken burger. Others had the mussels, the Camembert, and the fish and chips which were all really nice. We will be recommending to friends and will be back again soon.

Recommended by our local B&B and not disappointed. In fact went twice during our short trip to Bristol. The duck was particularly good. Tasting the local ale was a bonus.

The Ashville is an excellent local pub with fantastic food and a really cosy atmosphere. Staff are always polite and welcoming - it's our favourite place for Sunday lunch. They have a great range of drinks, particularly ciders!

We went for Sunday lunch which we and our friends have enjoyed on several occasions; what makes this a good option for us is the excellent vegetarian roast dinner which is a rare find. Sadly I am all too used to being given the 'reheated lasagne' whilst heaped bowls of vegetables are given the meat eaters roasts! Incidentally, my meat eating friends rate it too.

A top notch meal, warm friendly service. Great selection of specials. Delicious food and a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely dine here again, I recommend

My mum and I went for a Sunday dinner. The food was lovely and we were promptly served. Relaxing atmosphere and a friendly service. Great place for the family.

Most enjoyable meal and attentive staff. To improve a little somewhere to hang cats would be good and a wider selection of wine would be appreciated by myself, however, none of this detracts from my recommendation as a good restaurant.

Food was really good, well cooked and tasty. Atmosphere friendly. Lovely evening. Only criticism would be that not everything on the specials board was available and we were eating fairly early on a Friday night.

My boyfriend and I loved it, the roast dinner was perfection with great portion sizes! Definitely recommend!

Very good starter, the duck on my main course and the steak on my partners main were both slightly overdone but still tasty. The person we assumed was the owner seemed really nice and attentive.

Lovely fresh food - generous helpings, clean and fresh venue with friendly service.coffee a bit rich - made with full cream, but puds were lovely! Very family friendly.

Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Menu was varied and the Piano playing in the background added to the ambiance. Would recommend the Ashville and look forward to going there again.

My friends and I had a lovely meal, in delightful surroundings and made even more enjoyable by the waitress remembering us from our last visit on New Years Eve! Always a good touch. Will return when next in Bristol.

The food was amazing, had the most gorgeous monkfish really do recommend, we will definitely be returning. Service was very good too, a little gem on our doorstep.

Good food with plenty of choice, great service and a homely atmosphere. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The pianist was an unexpected added bonus.

nice vibe for Sunday lunch, beef roast good portion and very tasty. Plus having British Grand Prix on discretly in the corner - a bonus

This is a lovely pub. Fresh décor, bright and airy. Mags and papers to browse whilst waiting for friends. Beautiful food (loved our steaks). Relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back!

Great little place. Small problem but the friendly helpful staff sorted it immediately. Also treated to a free desert. Great place well worth a visit

Lovely meal. Great service and accommodated our 3 year old. We've had a few meals here and it's always been good, but the Sunday roast was great.

Good food but the restaurant hadn't got our reservation so a table had not been reserved for us. We shall visit the Ashville again though

Not the first time and definitely not the last.Excellent service . Had Sunday lunch here and red Cabbage which I hate was great. A regular for great food before every Bristol home gain. Great food ,great staff and complete satisfaction.

Polite staff and awesome food.. Really nice pub . I would highly recommend. We had a Sunday roast that came out quickly and was one of the best we have had in Bristol. Will go again.

Food was great but service and attitude of staff was poor, kept waiting for food but when it did arrive it was nice, not much choice on desserts

The best Steak and chips anywhere in Bristol. We love the food here!!. This place is a little hidden gem!!. We will be back soon.

I brought my Mum to the Ashville for tea. We could not fault anything. The food we had a rump steak and a fillet steak was the best we have had. Would recommend anyone to visit and see for themselves. The place is laid out lovely. Time between courses was just right. Staff very nice. Will be trying Sunday lunch next..Debbie

Lovely steak for both of us,cooked as requested with the best peppercorn steak ever. Only wish I could of tried the desserts but that wasn't on plan 😉

Lovely friendly place and food was lovely especially the steaks! So well presented and staff was so friendly nothing was to much trouble. Lot of people were in so well followed.

Excellent meal good service and steaks cooked really nice. 32oz Tomahawk is huge!! 10oz Fillet big too but melted and cooked nicely too. Would recommend. 😊

Excellent steak and very friendly service, albeit a little slow tonight. Would not put me off from recommending it to anyone. Will definitely revisit sooner rather than later
