Great food and great Service lovely environment to waste a Sunday afternoon

Fantastic, as always. Where better to spend a leisurely lunchtime in the sunshine.

Nice clean pub, plenty of seating. Food was average, roast potatoes a little hard. Service was good, staff were attentive.

Beautiful old pub with loads of character. We’re not from the area but so glad we came her for dinner. Friendly staff, delicious food and perfect atmosphere.

Service and food was poor. Disappointing as always been coming back over the years.

Service was great, the tomahawk veal was delicious and the childs sausage and mash was very tasty. Good honest food.

Had a lovely Sunday Roast, the meat was very tender, only down side were the Roast potatoes unfortunately!

Some food came to table cold, and had to go back. Beer battered fish was soggy. Ran out of pistachionice cream One of our party asked for toothpick whichbwere brought unwrapped in waitress'hand. Very unhygienic!

The perfect high-class hideaway for our lunch. Put simply, I love, so don't​ tell anyone!

Excellent friendly service. Great food. Great location. Range of food for all tastes. I had lobster which was exceptional. We were all a bit full for pudding so had a plate of 3 mini deserts (which were still a decent size) which is a great idea. They were all lovely and we got to try 3 desserts.

Food was excellent. Service wasn’t as good as we have previously had probably due to a wedding party occurring.

Lovely setting, fantastic food and polite, attentive staff all for a very reasonable price. This was our second visit and would definitely go back for a third. Strangely we were sat in a room of 3 tables and found out that everyone sat there was celebrating an anniversary!

Lovely setting, friendly staff, amazing food, good drink selection. What more can you ask for? We got married their 4 years ago and they helped make our day very special. I definitely recommend this place

A proper British pub and restaurant experience. You are always well looked after and the food never lets you down.

Wonderful hospitality, not a murmur when asking to switch from the restaurant to a table in the sunshine. The ambience is gentle and yet cultured. And if all this doesn't persuade you to visit, then wait until you see Mandy's trainers!

Lovely food and service in old country pub. Enjoyed king prawns and scallops to start and tasty lamb chump for a main. Excellent cheese board to finish.
