We waited at the table for 20mins for drinks and then after 40mons we were told they were too busy to take our food order! The table they put us on was also outside the men's toilets so we had lovely sights and smells to Cope with too. We ended up paying for our drinks and walking out ...

An unusual evening as we had to wait for an hour for our meal,but the food was excellent when it finally arrived. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Was told as soon as I sat down I had 1.5 hours to eat... I waited 15 mins for a drink and my order to be taken and was rushed.

The staff were really friendly. Plenty of variety available with the tapas- there's something for everyone. It came in generous portions so great for sharing. Very tasty and great value.

Poor service, waiting over an hour to be served for food when we had booked a table and also forgetting our drinks order. Had enough staff so shouldnt of been so poor.

Visited with friends for a birthday meal,we were seated beside a large booking but this didnt affect the service. The food was outstanding, we ordered 3 tapas each and had some left over. The cocktails were amazing too. Oh and staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Fabulous from start to finish. Lovely friendly atmosphere, Excellent customer service from all the staff. The food was presented well and tasted yummy! Drinks & cocktails were amazing and the overall price was more than reasonable. Perfect date night we will definitely be returning soon, loved it!

had a great evening 7 of us ordered tapas to share amongst ourselves and it was all fantastic quality especially the lamb tagine would highly recommend

Food was great, however some of the service wasn't the best. It may have been as several of the servers seemed to be new, which is fine as we all have to learn. Didn't spoil the evening though, and I would definitely go back. As an aside though, we were sat at the back of the restauarant and the music was really loud, particularly for a restaurant. Sometimes struggled to hear each other on a table of four!!

Service was good, food was lovely, good offer with 40% off tapas so fairly cheap dinner out. It was under £30 for two beers, 6 tapas dishes and garlic bread starter. The only criticism was the tapas dish named, Migas. The black pudding and chorizo were overdone and dried out. Didn't seem fresh, just a freshly cooked egg on the top. Would return again though.

A really lovely evening, we enjoyed the Tapas & I especially enjoyed the Porn Star Martini's with the shot of Prosseco on the side. Great background music, a really lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff, have been before and will go back for more x.

The Courtyard was a lovely setting, the staff very friendly , service good and the tapas food was fabulous and good portion size. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Lovely affordable tapas. 6 plates between me and girlfriend plus we got free nachos on arrival as they had been made by mistake for another table. Will be back in jan to make use of the 40% off tapas mon -wed after 5pm

Booked the courtyard for a meal with a friend over the bank holiday weekend. It was busy both in the bar and the restaurant but service was good as was the food and really reasonably priced too. Stayed for a cocktail in the bar after and it was really nice too

Food was great and exceptional service from the staff. Really friendly older waiter who is an assett to the company. I'll definitely return, loved it!

A relaxing, warm experience with good food & wine - service always attentive without being obvious or pushy. Some dishes could have been hotter (temperature-wise!), but delicious as usual.

My friend and I went on a Thursday evening we hadn't realised it was a deal night, spend £25 and get a free bottle of wine. Excellent deal, food was gorgeous as always, lovely evening, friendly staff and busy place!

Very pleasant experience. The lunchtime tapas offer was very much worth the money, the food was good and the mature waiter was very charming. We'll definitely be going back again.

Lot of food to choose from on the menu,portions could have been a bit bigger for four people also plenty of drinks to choose from as well and best to book you table beforehand.

Great service and the evening tapas meals are very good and the cocktails go down lovely! Always a regular customer here and never disappointed with food or drinks. Weekends are especially busy with a good atmosphere

Food was divine, staff were great, very helpful. Atmosphere was buzzing. Definitely recommend it to friends. You must try their Peach Bellini cocktails absolutely lush

Great night out and the staff are lovely. Tapas is really tasty and good value which is a bonus as other places always seem to over charge.

Firstly it wasn't busy. We were greeted and sat warmly. I arrived before my client, and I ordered a drink which arrived quickly. She then ordered a drink, a bottle arrived with no offer of a glass. Our food order was amazing, the food is lovely, well prepared, good selection and the dishes we choose were really nice. We ordered a second drink order. The server forgot our order, and we prompted, she then came back to say she'd forgotten what we ordered. We informed her, and then it was delayed again. So it was a bit of a mixed experience. I'd say your front of house staff are letting you down. As the restaurant space and atmosphere was good, the food excellent, but the service not great.

Food and service again excellent and the staff were as attentive and proficient as ever. Excellent range of beers and the offspring enjoyed a cocktail.

Visited after a show in Liverpool. Food as normal was amazing, service was slightly behind were we normally expect due to 2 very big parties being in - still a good experience.

We were welcomed by the staff, and were shown to our table, very attentive staff, despite the restaurant being a little busy. Our friends were very I spreader, as were we, the food was excellent, lamb was lovely and the other roasts, pork and beef looked scrumptious. Thank you to all, we will definitely be back soon!

Ask for a table away from the serving hatch and the toilets, you won't be able to enjoy your meal for staff and customers squeezing between your table to serve meals and customers getting to the toilets.

We had visited the Courtyard on previous occasions mostly for tapas, My party were disappointed with the Sunday Lunch yesterday. The roast potatoes were a little hard and the beef was tough. There was no apple pie available but no alternative offered to complete the 3 course offer without paying £2.50 extra. Very Disappointed

Great food. Good service. But you do need to book in advance. And parking can be a bit of a pain depending on the time of evening. But well worth it! Recommended.
