Our curry club visited again for our Xmas party. The group voted for this venue because we enjoyed our previous visit so much. We will return again 😋😋😋

We booked for a table for two on Saturday night, and just as we were leaving a couple of friends paid an unexpected social call at our house. We invited them to join us. We got to the Covered Wagon, and explained the situation. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, the gentleman booking us in was extremely helpful and found us a table for an extra two people in less than ten minutes. Food was as fantastic as always, it was our friend's first visit and they were impressed also. Service was superb and we'll be back soon!

Our first visit, and we were overwhelmed at the vegan menu. My girfriend said that this may have been the best curry that she ever had. We'll return soon!

Service wasn't as good as we have previously had, seemed very hurried and not very organised.we were on a long table, and ordered 3 portions of poppadoms for our table, 6 poppadoms were bought out on one plate and 1 portion of dips, we had to ask another waitress for an extra plate so we could share them poppadoms along the table and for 2 more portions of dips. We had 3 different servers, so not a very personal experience, and 2 of the 3 seemed to be in a rush to get the food given out and rush back off, some of the food was wrong, so had to be taken away, and nobody asked us if we needed anything else, it was very hurried. Usually after a few minutes of receiving our meal the server would come back to see if all was ok with the meals, but nobody came back to check on our table. We had to get the servers attention to pay our bill too as we were left for so long Food was good, but service wasn't great

If you want to pop somewhere to eat and be in and out in 30 minutes this place is great. Unfortunately we were a table of 17 wanting to celebrate a birthday. We ordered starters and mains and then the waiter said they were too busy to serve the starters separately so wanted to bring everything out together, we said no so just had a main meal. Then just as we served cake they came over to tell us they needed the table so could we leave. I have no idea why anyone goes back

We previously asked to be sat in a quiet area of the pub. It couldn't have been any noisier sat right by the bar and next to a VERY loud group... couldn't hear a word We were saying. We asked to be moved which was a bit better . The food was beautiful though .

Cold chips,three missed meals Eventually got the 3 meals after the other 5 guests had finished.. They gave a free main to compensate but still not happy.

Arrived 20 minutes early,got seated straight away,went the bar got out drinks,within two minutes waitress arrived with menus,took our order,all I'll say as a negative is our Maine's arrived with starters,but as usual lovely food.

Good very very tasty as usual but took a while for mains to come out and starters hadn’t even been cleared away . Weren’t given enough knives and forks at first but think also as very busy night

Absolutely delicious food and their sizzling platters a myst try. The lamb melted in your mouth and the prawn curry exploded with flavour with decent sized prawns too. Service was excellent with attentive staff. Highly recommended

There weren't enough staff to wait the tables. We shared one between many big parties and there didn't seem to be a friendly atmosphere from her as she was very overworked!
