I brought our family who are visiting us from Australia as they wanted to dine Indian food , we all had a great time and the food was excellent . Thank You

Visited early on a Thursday evening and couldn't believe how busy this venue was. Food was amazing, fast service and generous portions. Only thing that spoilt it was another party dining (obviously regulars) had an inability to talk to each other & could only shout so was really noisy as everyone else then raised the level of conversation to be heard over them so we didn't stay for dessert or additional drinks. Would definitely come here again though!!

We were seated quickly The place was crowded but clean and the decibel levels were engaging and not disruptive Food was served quickly, sumptuous and hot. Service was quick a tad rushed as the restaurant was full

Covered wagon is best restaurant in place in Birmingham . Must be place to visit

Lamb chops were not fully cooked in the nonveg platter we ordered. Apart from that food and service was amazong..

We went as a working lunch so it was nice and quiet. The guy behind the bar with the pony tail was very helpful, pleasant. The food was amazing as usual ( i have dined here a few times). The only downside today was the member of staff that came over and took our order, he was quite abrupt and wanted to speed us up, when he served the food it was dumped on the table and he didn't know the dishes that he had served and as he got the wrong name of the dish it was given to the wrong person. That aside, the team said they would visit again as the food was exceptional.

Great Desi pub. Great service & value every time we visit

Family visit on a Thursday night. Not too busy although car was still full. Had the mega sizzler as a starter to share and it was a great success. Then had various curries with rice and naan. My lamb saag was one of the best I have eaten, the lamb seemed to melt on to your tongue. Everyone else seemed happy with theirs. Not super cheap for Indian food, but a reasonable price at £110 for four people with a couple of beers each, and no one left hungry!! So a great success.

Starter was a bit bland. Main was better but. Bit oily

The food and surroundings are great. The only thing that would make it better is not having to ask for clean plates after starters and that the plates are warmed so your main meal stays warm while eating.

Service felt very rushed, you go in and it was like you had to know what you wanted however a group of 6 catching up you don't always look at the menu straight away, food was great but felt very rushed

There was only one problem are original seats we asked to be moved to another table reason bring table next to us had dirty plates and left over food on table from previous diners .the waitress seated us then went off to clear a different table leaving the one next to ours .

As always, we enjoyed the food - great flavours and variety. Arrived quickly, service was generally very good. We ate meat free for the first time at Covered Wagon and the experience was just as good. The chilli paneer is sublime!

Good food great atmosphere however the service felt rushed no sooner had we received our Popadoms then the starter arrived and halfway through the starter the main course arrived and no one was clearing away the used plates or cutlery all a bit chaotic we ended up taking food home to finish

Lively, vibrant & popular venue. Heard many good reviews so decided to try for first time. Staff attentive & efficient. Food delicious although felt starters were rather expensive so we shared one. Chips disappointing ... rather limp but could easily be rectified with an extra dip in hot oil to crisp them up. Portions ample. Felt £5.30 pint for Timothy Taylor Landlord is expensive. Definitely will be back though. Well worth a visit.

Food was really nice but the wings were undercooked. We sent it back and they gave us extra tikka meat and sheek kebab which was really nice.
