2nd time visiting and both times we have really enjoyed the food and the great service!

Great to have a good seafood restaurant on our doorstep. The monkfish was catch of the day and was lovely and meaty with no overpowering sauce.

I ordered dressed crab salad which can only best be described as an offence as a trade description as I had to hunt through the salad to find any crab. The parts I did find were tiny and very little of. My husband ordered the fish supper which for £16 was no better than any fish and chip shop. Will not be back.

Half lobster was a bit small, nothing wrong with it next time i'll order full lobster

Food and service was brilliant, only thing that let it down was the lady on the front desk, rude and abrupt, seemed annoyed we asked for a high chair, was no hello or smile as we came in, and no thanks or goodbye as we left. For a first point of contact coming in to restaurant is not a great first impression.

Great the best fish n chips 100% and service great

I was gifted a voucher so decided to visit with my husband, mother and a friend, both myself and mum are Coeliac and the fish & chips were fab. The Lobster was succulent and tasty too. The staff were very attentive and friendly Will certainly be back soon

Food was delicious. I had the half lobster with garlic butter. Very tasty if a bit small. All others in the party had battered haddock and utterly enjoyed it. Batter very crispy. Would recommend visiting but one suggestion would be for the waiting team to volunteer information on the menu such as different fish options available that day.

There was no sirloin steak on the menu the evening we arrived. This precluded any order of surf and turf or steak alone. We were seated directly beside the kitchen which made it noisy and smokey at our table. we ordered the BBQ squid which was very disappointing. No flavour and a very small portion. we also ordered the sour dough bread which was tiny and yet priced highly. The platter for two to share was very nice, However the soft shell crab in batter just tasted of batter, perhaps no batter would have been better, it could have done with some type of bread to soak up the lovely sauce and ordering the corresponding 5 rolls would be over £25 which is excessive for bread.The crab coleslaw was delicious.

Good excellent, staff friendly and attentive. Only issue is need to sort out extraction, the restaurant was very smoky and we all left smelling of food and grease.

Lovely venue, friendly and very helpful staff, fast and very efficient service, but most of all great food, we went to check out their fish and chips and were not disappointed, the fish was fresh and delicious, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves seafood, we will be back, 5 stars for me !!

Staff and ambience were excellent took my fish loving partner for a treat was aware the only non fish option available was either steak or a sausage supper so unfortunately no steak available which was disappointing

fish and chips, waiter asks if with mushey peas without informing you there is a charge for them . service was quick, portion was adequate .Soft drinks were a bit pricey ,fumes from the grill were overbearing ,had to get out for fresh air. I don't like service charge added to bill, I prefer to tip my server personally.

It was very good, tasty food and excellent service. The staff were great - my only complaint is that it was exorbitantly expensive - £273 for 4 adults and a child. That price would mirror a top class restaurant in the City of Edinburgh

Lovely fish and chips, good value for money. Some original touches, eg seaweed butter. Only negatives were disappointing mushy peas and unavailability of advertised 0% beer.

Servers were friendly. Enjoyed the food and the white zinfandel rose wine.

Good food and service. Was sitting near the 'open kitchen" so could see food getting prepped and cooked, but after a while the air became a bit smokey and irritated eyes so would benefit from a stronger extractor fan in the kitchen.
