Lovely meal at the Crab and Lobster, service was prompt, polite and efficient. Only small criticism would be no need to ask if everything all right quite so often it was a bit much.

Absolutely delicious, staff are great and really friendly, no crab today but thankfully mum wanted the monk fish special if not she would have been disappointed. Apart from that we couldn't fault it 👌🏽

Beautifully cooked monkfish as a special of the day - delicious. The gluten free battered haddock was great too. Nice laid back atmosphere with friendly staff.

Visited on Wednesday 16th July for lunch with a friend. Food was good as was the service. I would thoroughly recommend the Monkfish if it is available.

Love the refurbishment, very relaxing atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. Fish and chips were excellent and I loved the fresh side salad. My friend asked for her haddock to be breaded as it wasn’t on the menu and it was no problem at all. I understand that this option will be added to their menu but for now, they were very happy to oblige. Will definitely be back to try something different next time!

Lovely decor, good friendly staff, great service, but food experience disappointing. Ordered Scallops (£16:0), expected 3/4, got 2, although tasted excellent, their facebook shows 3. Ordered large Fish & Chips plus peas (£21:0), the fish was dry and tasteless, either not fresh or overcooked. My wife ordered 1/2 Lobster, 2 forks later she ran out of meat, very small lobster. Overall disappointed with the food served, Queensferry really needed a good fish restaurant since the Boathouse closed, quality and value not there. Incidentally bought 4 Scallops from Fishmonger cost £3:80p.

Second visit to Crab and Lobster Shack and again did not disappoint. Had the Crab nachos, which were still very good but I think the recipe has changed since last visit. The BBQ squid was excellent.

This is a lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated. We both opted for the haddock tea. Sadly, we felt there was too much batter on the fish. Will likely choose something else on a future visit.

Very happy with our first visit. The food was excellent, and reasonably priced. The staff were very pleasant. The decor very attractive. Also excellent is the fact there is a division in the kitchen for cooking for people with coeliac. We will definitely go again.

Lovely visit for a birthday. Squid, crab, lobster, sharing platter, desserts and drinks all perfect. Staff very efficient and attentive. Will defo purely be back SOON.

A great visit. I like the range of wines, cocktails etc...There could be more beers though, including GF ones. The food was delicious, although the chips could have been crisper.

Am already a local fan and patron of Jack O’Bryans and the whole team there- they always make you feel so looked after with an amazing meal and service. So I was excited about the new venture and it does not disappoint. Great atmosphere, same lovely style of service and the food was top notch. Lovely to have something so focused on seafood and a “posh” fish tea. Oysters were fresh as could be. The market fish battered monkfish was such a treat- hope it will feature again! And as I was driving it was brilliant to have a draft zero beer rather than a mocktail or soft drink- felt like was not missing out at all. Thanks to the whole family/team for another great “Jack” meal!

The batter was light and delicate, with just the right amount of seasoning to complement the fresh flavour of the fish without overpowering it.
