Apart from the Crown not having our booking from you everything else was good.

well organised, COVID secure, really nice food. amazing service would highly recommend

The food was very good. The venue is really nice and cosy. But I feel the staff make the experience really. Fun the moment you walk in they are friendly, attentive and the host especially tests you like a very valued customer. The waiters and waitresses are excellent. No complaints at all only praise

Good social distancing with servers all wearing face coverings- service seemed a little slower than usual but possibly due to new restrictions - food was tasty and plates hot !

The whole experience was great The food was very good quality and well cooked Staff were polite and efficient and crayons and colouring book were brought for the little one Very highly recommended

Staff were very friendly and professional. It did take quite a long time for our food to arrive but it was worth the wait. Freshly cooked and delicious. Would definitely go to the Crown for food again.

Everywhere was cleaned thoroughly, we didn't feel rushed and the food was lovely. Only disappointment was I ordered lemon meringue roulade, and they brought lemon meringue pie with no explanation. It was nice but I wouldn't have chosen pie.

A pub rather than a restaurant. Slow service and we needed to prompt staff that we were ready to order. Table service was lacking in urgency as staff seemed to prioritise bar customers. However when food arrived it was very good , decent portions and tasty.

Food was cold , Staff behind the bar not taking any notice of seated customers at one point 3 stood chatting . Had to ask for menu and then for someone to take order .No front of house supervision of waiting staff more concerned about take away instead of customers in side . Really disappointed as had come highly recommended

Great service and pleasant experience was a little nervous as first outing for something to eat and meet friends for lunch. Good to see social distances rules observed

It was half an hour before anyone took our order. Food took a long time to arrive and starter was not good. Main meal was nice but again took a long time to arrive. Understand that service will be slower than normal due to covid but we arrived at 7pm and ate our mains at 8:20pm. Won't be returning

Good food, reasonably price with good old fashioned service. Definitely will visit again and recommend to family and friends.

There were 3 of us dining. All the meals were delicious and very good value. I have never been disappointed eating at The Crown 😃

The food was very good but could have been a bit warmer. The portions were were more then ample. Highly recommended

Food was delicious and served hot. However it soon went cold as there was little or no heating on in the pub which spoilt our enjoyment.

Lovely meal for the family and extended family. We were seated in an area which meant no steps to climb as one of our party had just come home from hospital with a broken hip. I asked if this would be possible and the young lady said she would do her best to accommodate us - thank you.

The food is good and all the staff are friendly. Good environment.

Shortage of staff. Took the order wrong. Was waiting at the bar about 15 mins on arrival before we had to get someone's attention to inform them we were there and seated at our table. Meal was ok.

Food was excellent however service could have been better, staff need to be more attentive rather than just chatting to the locals

Food was fantastic as always. Sometimes a little wait if busy but then the food is properly home cooked and delicious so I don’t mind that. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Definitely the place we go if we want a lovely meal out.

We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch, good quality food.

Usually good quality roast beef, very disappointing on this occasion, hopefully a one off.

Food lovely, just let down by no heating in pub. We don't like eating with coats on!
