About The Font Manchester
About the restaurant
The Font Manchester is a favourite among Manchester’s cool folk and student crowd alike for its infamous two-quid cocktails, stylish space and convenient location on New Wakefield Street, a short walk from Oxford Road station and MMU. The Font is one of Manchester city centre’s most stylish venues, popular for both dinner as well as drinks with DJs spinning tunes in the evening and exhibitions regularly taking place. The cocktail menu may draw in the crowds but don’t miss out on the food on offer at The Font either – you’ll find everything from gourmet burgers to burritos, big breakfasts, hot dogs, sandwiches and wraps on the menu. We recommend the Fleetwood Mac (mac ‘n’ cheese with four different cheeses and roasted garlic) washed down with a cocktail or some craft beer from the lengthy list.

So, there’s most definitely a whole lot to love about The Font Manchester! Obviously the £2 cocktails is a huge drawcard to this city centre hotspot, but it’s also home to delicious food, live music and a whole host of cool events. Located along New Wakefield Street, this spacious spot is vibrant, colourful and has a buzzing and infectious atmosphere you’re sure to love. From The Font’s drinks menu, we recommend keeping an eye out for the mint julep made with mint, Jim Beam and sugar; Smoke on the Water made with gin, vodka, triple sec, coconut rum, peach schnapps and blue curacao topped with lemonade and grenadine and the unicorn juice that’s literally made with glitter and rainbows. Hello, yes please!
As for the food at The Font Manchester, you’ll be in for a treat, that’s for sure. In the morning, you’ll find everything from full English breakfasts; buttermilk waffles with crispy duck; huevos rancheros and a big vegan brekkie. Later on, you’ll love the gourmet burgers – we recommend the burgernator topped with streaky bacon – with a side of mac n’ cheese or curly fries, or the loaded fries or nachos with your choice of topping. We’re particularly partial to the short rib poutine and the classic which comes with melted cheddar, sour cream and chive dip, avocado salsa and pico de gallo. No matter if you’re visiting The Font in the Manchester city centre for drinks, food or both, you’ll be in for a treat each time – book your table now!
