This is avery lovely place to go and eat , fresh wholesome food , good portions and very reasonably priced.The service is prompt and friendly ...will definitely go back .

Following recommendations by friends we recently visited The Fountain for lunch for the first time. We had already looked at the sample menu on line and when we arrived found we were spoilt for choice. My wife had mackerel and i had tiger prawns with both of us choosing the poached cod with mussels. The accompanying steamed veg & chips/dauphinoise were most enjoyable. An excellent meal with friendly attentive service. We will be back !

Myself and three friends had a most enjoyable evening. The staff were most welcoming, the menu was very varied and suitable for all tastes and when the food was served it lived up to expectations.

SUPERB. I've been here several times in the past. There's always a friendly welcome, fast (but not unobtrusive) service and fantastic food. We will definitely be back.

brilliant meal and service. really nice touch with having your name on the menu. I loved every minute in there and so did all my guests. 6 / 6

Food was really good, very tasty and love having the sharing potatoes and vegetables which as also bottomless. Varied amounts of puddings, something for everyone. Good selection of wine also. Price for 4 people, 2 courses and wine was very reasonable.

Lovely pub, superb staff and food. As usual our high expectations were met throughout our visit which included a pre dinner drink outside before superb food inside.

I was dealing about their king prawns before we arrived and they didn't fail to impress. Absolutely stunning food- both in looks and taste. Staffs are superb too, especially the main female front of house! She brought laughter to the whole of our side of the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Staff are very attentive and helpful. The service was faultless and the food very good. We ordered 3 starters between the 5 of us which was more than ample. The beef Wellington was very good as was the lamb. A very enjoyable dinner.

Good experience but spoiled by basic steamed vegetables & poor dauphinoise potatoes. Starters and desserts were of good quality. Service very good. Drinks good but expensive.

Staff excellent service would give them ten out of ten.Starter and sweet great.Main course was a little off due to Yorkshire puds being cold and dry.Would still go again.A very pleasant atmosphere.

We had a lovely time at The Fountain which is a beautiful old pub in a delightful area. The service was excellent and the majority of us enjoyed our meal. I was slightly disappointed with my food but the rest were extremely happy. The chips, vegetables and pommes dauphinoises were delicious and the portions were huge. The meal was extremely good value and I would have very little hesitation in recommending the Fountain to others.

Good atmosphere, good service, good food. Just as good as the first time we ate there many years ago and always the same standard. Our friends on their first visit loved it

Our favourite place. We love it here, the steak was amazing and waitresses could not do enough for you. Even footed in with my wife's new diet regime.

We loved our visit to the fountain. The food is delicious and the service is second to none. It was my parents 25th wedding anniversary and the menu had a note on it. We were thoroughly impressed!

This was our first visit and we were surprised to see the place so vibrant on a Monday evening. Immediately we were welcomed to our table by a personable waitress. From there on, the level the service from the young waitresses and the quality of food served could not be faulted. The chef popped his head out to say that he had slightly overcooked a steak so there would be a slight delay, which enhanced the personal service on a busy evening. If you want a pleasant evening and quality of menu and service then come to The Fountain.

There is a small car park and pub is in a beautiful area of Clent too. The food is lovely with an excellent choice and very reasonably priced with a nice atmosphere too. Excellent and will definitely go there again.

I have dined many times at the Fountain. The food and service are always excellent, I have found, especially the lamb pot roast! If you can reserve a table away from the draughty door you will appreciate the difference.

The Fountain in Clent is beautiful! We went for a special birthday and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing! Fresh, full of taste and lots to chose from. It's our fifth visit and we'll be looking forward to our sixth very soon!
