The Fountain at Clent

Excellent experience from start to finish. The food was very nice and we would certainly recommend. Wish we lived closer to visit more frequently. My favourite course was the pork terrine.

One of our party is lactose intolerant and a veggie , but the chef adapted menu and we all left very happy. Do like the trio of puddings !! Loved the service ; .... if there was one fault it was that we were opposite the door BUT if it was hotter this would have been a benefit

poor value for money we both had chicken the sauces with chicken was sickle and dessert very dear for what it was small ice cream and sorbet

Always a fantastic choice of food and today was no exception. Brilliant menu, superbly cooked, a good choice of drinks and pleasant courteous staff. A lovely atmosphere inside the pub.

You always know you will get freshly cooked food, with chips, potatoes and veg in the price. They do a fixed price and Al a Carte menu too. Always busy. Only downside there is no bar to wait at as such. There are outside seats but with the English weather you can never guarantee it wont rain.

The service was just fine and we enjoyed the food and the environment. We will go again. Having ones name on the menu was a nice touch too.

Very good restaurant..i wouldhighly recommend. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection and the recommended wine complimented the meal perfectly . Our next time I am going to try the Sunday lunch which looks very nice

Great service and wonderful food. Good sized portions and we like the option to have 3 smaller desert portions for the price of one desert. Always a good experience at the Fountain Inn.

Fantastic food, pâté starter was amazing. Would have been full marks, apart from the fact the knives could have been sharper. I will visit again!

Lovely meal as usual, Russ as charming as ever , finger on the pulse at all times. Lamb was perfection, my hubby was very food envious.

The food was very good. The service was also very good and there was a welcoming atmosphere from the staff. All in all a very pleasant dining experience which I would be happy to recommend to others and will look forward to returning in the near future.

Our first visit to the Fountain. The atmosphere was welcoming, staff friendly and efficient. The set Sunday lunch menu had a lot of choice. Our party of four each had different meals and all were lovely, well presented, freshly cooked and tasted lovely. We will definitely book again.

Quality of food excellent but main course let down by overcooked beef and food was not hot. The meringue and fresh fruit dessert was excellent.

Excellent service and good. We attended on a Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our meal. Staff are helpful and friendly. I cannot wait to return.

We were made to feel that our 14 month old was unwelcome. On arrival we weren't offered a high chair and we had to ask for one, one was provided but they didn't seem pleased about it. The children's menu seems to be top secret, they don't have it printed, you have to ask the staff and then they tell you what's available! When our order was taken our daughter was again ignored, they didn't ask what we would like to order for her, we had to ask to order for her when they moved on to try to take a wine order. Whilst the children's meals are freshley prepared they really don't seem to want small children in the restaurant. The food was average, the salmon was very dry and some of the veg was dried up as well.

A busy Friday night in what has become our 1st choice restaurant, food excellent and staff pleasant and attentive. Can't wait to return. Thank you.

Very nice, good food, nice touch with the personalised menu, will go again. Only criticism is they need to sort out the chairs, the backs were a bit uncomfortable.

Best steak we've ever eaten! Food is beautifully presented and delicious to eat. Great service and lovely atmosphere, too. The sea bass was also divine, dessert was decadent.

Another fantastic evening out with friends in our favourite pub. The service and quality here is always second to non. Everyone enjoyed all their food.

Lovely country pub in the pretty village of client. Visited twice for Sunday lunch, and enjoyed our meals on both occasions. Waiters very friendly and service was excellent.

Great service starts with a personalised menu when you take your seat. Great food and service with my set menu costing £18.95. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection. All in all a great experience. Well done to the staff.

This restaurant is in an idyllic position and provides a comfortable environment indoors and outside. The food is excellent, and the service, efficient and friendly.

Very good food, pleasant staff but a bit on the slow side. I would recommend it for a night out only it's a bit isolated so taxi is a good idea.

This was not the first time we visited the Fountain Inn and as on previous visits we were very pleased. The service and food are both excellent, it is very nice to be able to escape the busy city and find a little gem like the fountain not far away. We look forwards to returning to the Fountain Inn in the future.

Fifth time visit and as usual staff very welcoming and friendly. We had our usual fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Overall the meal and dining experience was second to none.

The greeting, service and food were all to a very high standard. The options on the fixed price menu were nicely varied for all three courses, and overall good value.
