Staff were very friendly and helpful. Several checks to see if everything was OK and if we needed anything. Food took a while to arrive but this may be because of Covid restrictions. Also slightly expensive, but at the moment that's fine as we need to help support these businesses. Good portions though. I think that none of us could completely finish the meal, just too full. The food is really good. The Gregory has always lacked an atmosphere though. Not sure what the solution is, possibly more soft furnishings and some background music. Maybe a bit more colour. Empty fireplaces in the Summer also look cold.

Food was fab, staff were so welcoming to us three even though our first visit. Only downer was the "boules" wine that came as part of the steak deal it was "rank" and an insult on the taste buds.

Although the chef bent over backwards to accommodate my meal, they need to get one gluten free & vegan style meals in. The food we had was very nice & we would recommend going back.

We were the only 2 diners all lunchtime which surprised us however everything very good however atmosphere lacking because of that. Everything else very good

Couldn’t be more impressed, our first real night out since lockdown and the service and good certainly didn’t disappoint! We had the steak night offer and at this quality it’s a real bargain. Picked onion rings are to die for!! Highly recommended

The staff were very pleasant and welcoming as always & our meals were served in a reasonable time. It was pie night which I had & it included a drink too for £9.95. All our meals were lovely, would highly recommend.

We had previously tried The Gregory for Sunday lunch which was excellent. For our second vist we ordered off the pub classics menu. The menu had a good selection to choose from. The food and service was very good. Would not hesitate to recommend The Gregory
