Great food, It was a little dark in the restaurant but otherwise excellent

Staff was fantastic, nice andhigh standard feel to the place. We used meercat meal 2 for 1 which made price good value, at full price I would have walked out feeling like I've been over charged. The prawn starter was outstanding, the squid starter was over cooked/rubbery and not as advertised. The steaks were fantastic but was ordered rare and served medium. All made up by the amazing staff though

Good food and good service. Toilet could do with a bit of a clean.

Warm welcome. Accommodating waiter. Nothing too much trouble. Food was fantastic

Staff was always kind and the atmosphere very nice. The only complain was the hole from an old leak on the ceiling and the toilet not up to the standards.

Steak on fleek - great value for money and well worth it food wise

Wonderful place. Not pretentious but quiet and cosy. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Not the cheapest restaurant in town, but you get what you pay for and the food, particularly the steak, is superb. Big crowd of us, so service was going to be stretched, but the guys took it all in their stride and all meals were served pretty quickly and piping hot. An excellent night out was had by all, and we plan to repeat the experience soon. Many thanks.

Snapper Fish said it came with baby potatoes and grilled veg, There were 1.5 tiny soggy potatoes, a chunk of Green pepper, some tomatoes and onions. I was still hungry. Better places to spend your money, I used to like it here

A hidden gem A lovely feel to this restaurant with great service and the best steak I’ve had in a long time! The prawn starter was equally good too. We were the only dinners on a Thursday lunch but were made to feel special which added to the experience, many thanks 🙂

Nice meal, good choice of steaks and fish dishes. Prices reasonable. Acoustics a bit strange. Music came on and off and was a little too loud. Decor a bit ‘homemade’. Doesn’t really matter though. Friendly service.

Great food, really tasty and cooked to perfection. Would definitely be worth another visit. Only thing is the menu does not seem to vary much in all the times we have been there.

Very good food in a small but pleasant room. Good grill menu. They had a large party in when we were there, which impacted the service a little, but otherwise an excellent evening.

Starter was nice, but the main took 40 Minutes after the starter to arrive. I had a chicken risotto which was too stodgy and bland. 3 strips of chicken on top of rice pudding was how I would describe it. I didn’t pay for any of the meal due to the main arriving 40 minutes late the side salad was from a bag of salad and did not look good at all. Will not be returning

Only problem we found was that we wanted to arrive a bit later than our booked time but their phone was engaged for over an hour so couldn't get through.

Lovely evening, excellent food and service. This was our first visit and we will definitely return and recommend to friends.

The fillet steak was excellent. However the management now charge extra for chips (£2.99). Chips used to be included with the steaks. Given you're already paying £24.99 for a fillet steak I think this extra charge is unnecessary and OTT!

Service was a little slow, had to ask to order our drinks and the food.. but the food was amazing and staff were very polite. Would definitely go back!

Fantastic food, very friendly staff, however on the evening myself and three others dined the kitchen was under a lot of pressure so the wait for our table, and between courses, was too long. We received a complimentary drink for our troubles and a reduction in the bill which was fair as due to the wait we drank more wine than usual. It was festival week in Cheltenham and I think the restaurant was over booked. Overall experience was good with excellent food. Would certainly dine here again but would hope for a slicker service.

Excellent service and top class Fillet steak. They were able to accommodate early arrival after racing which was much appreciated.
