Our experience tonight was fantastic the best meal we've had out in a long time, great food great service We go out most weekends to eat but tonight's meal was exceptional,well done to all the team, looking forward to our next visit thanks again. Jean Grime

Nice meal but waitress forgot side plates of vegetables and chips with the steak. Had to ask after 5 minutes of waiting and steak going cold. To be fair, we were offered a complimentary drink.

Lovely Sunday lunch and excellent service. Excellent place with very professional staff. The £10.95 2 course Sunday lunch is very good value for such good food.

First time at the Hinds Head and the food was excellent. The reason for the 5 rating and not 6 was due to the excessively noisy atmosphere and the feeling that after being seated we were being rushed to order. Otherwise as previously stated food quality and portions were excellent value for money and will definately return.

The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful, everybody in our party enjoyed it. My gin cocktail was yummy too! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location and perfect food with very friendly staff 10/10. I would recommend to anyone and I'll be visiting again. The beers and ales are surved to perfection

Good food as always. It was very busy for a Monday lunch time but the service was still good. The Belgian waffle was absolutely delicious.

Came here last night for my birthday meal with my parents and son. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning. The staff went out if there way to make sure we were happy and made the experience really nice. The food was to very high standards and the place itself is lovely. 5*

My sons ordered burgers. They came piled high with onion rings etc. The burgers were burnt. They ordered chocolate fudge cake. No mention was made of fruit being included. The juice from the fruit had seeped into the cake. The boys don't like raspberries or blueberries so only ate part of the cake. Maybe they are too fussy, but had it been mentioned, I would have refused the fruit accompaniment. I enjoyed the pate starter. the service was good though.

Great place, great atmosphere, the food is delicious and well placed. This is going to be a regular eating place for Francesca and myself. See you soon 😀

Excellent food and service. Staff extremely helpful and knowledge regarding menu. All the staff seem to be very happy. Perfect cocktails. A must if you are hungry, don't snack before you go you won't finish the food.

Service was very slow. Table booked for 1945hrs, when we ordered starters we were later advised there was only on piece of garlic bread available. Main course ordered only to be advised the Venison was not available. Not good enough!

Excellent menu, nicely presented dishes, excellent flavours. Friendly efficient staff. Busy evening, so noisy, but a real buzz in the air. Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the meal.

As usual exvellent food and service highly reccomend this place we often eat here try it! The lunches here are so good and they offet small portions too.

Excellent food and friendly staff. Bit slow with the first course but the food was truely delicious and well worth the little initial wait. I had the venison which is highly recommended

We had a great meal out at the Hinds Head for our sons 20th birthday. We were accompanied by our two other children aged 10 and 14 and there was something on the menu to suit everyone. Particularly enjoyed the home made fish and chips, batter was really crispy and the chips cooked to perfection - no oven chips here! The ambience in the restaurant was lovely too, I have been during the daytime but at night it is a different experience with soft lighting, candles and fairy lights. Staff are really friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience, we will definately return!

Prompt service and excellent food at reasonable prices in a relaxed atmosphere. What more can you ask for. We will certainly return and can highly recommend it to others.

Another excellent meal with first class service. Very pleasant atmosphere. The Hinds Head is a very popular dining venue. We always book to be sure of getting a table.

Excellent food and service. There was a good choice of dishes on the menu and what we had was well cooked and presented. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive and served in a pleasant friendly manner. A very good experience. A short but well chosen wine list which was not overly expensive.

Took my mum for her birthday and wow this place was beautiful very well laid out well priced cuisine, the staff were smart and very polite was not disappoint one bit will definitely be going again.
