Very nice pub, nice beer garden, nice decor inside and the menu was extensive if not a little expensive.

Good hot food convenient to where we live so not far to go

slightly noisy as it was quiz night but overall a good experience

I’ve been several times and it’s always first class for a pub meal. Great value, lots to choose from and deliciously home cooked.

An excellent roast lamb. Food was lovely and hot with fresh vegetables. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I feel that the food was expensive for what it was,the roast was overcooked and dry,the seafood was nice but not worth the money. The service was good but I don't feel that we will want to come back soon.

This is a very nice little pub. However the bar staff could do with some training on who is next to be serviced instead of just service the locals first.

The food was lovely, however experience was spoilt by some extremely loud man sat at the bar who felt the need to let the rest of the place know his betting habbits, that he has a nagging wife(although whilst he in the pub, she probably enjoying the peace and quiet)and his language was not pleasant. I think patrons drinking at bar should be mindful of the diners. Or maybe pub should be sectioned off between diners and those men just want to drink.

First time I had been there. Meal was amazing and atmosphere very relaxed and friendly. Would highly recommend.

We are regulars and normally have a great experience! But today unfortunately, (we assume due to it being Father’s Day) service was poor, we waited half an hour in between courses, which could have been longer if we hadn’t have prompted an under pressure member of staff! Then requested cutlery when the mains came as previous cutlery was taken away with starters only to sit and wait to be forgotten again whilst our food sat in front of us! Also advertised a free gift for dads, however, nothing was mentioned and we decided not to bother asking as this may have caused another long wait.

Food was brilliant and the service to! Defiantly will be back.

Decent food, served relatively quickly. Prices are towards the upper end of the pub bracket. Would definitely return.

Ate here for a second night while staying at nearby Premier Inn - varied menu and huge portions. Friendly staff.

I had the Horn Burger which was ok. Should have contained cheese. If it was there I must have missed it. Staff were ok but recovering from having a wake that day. It was an ok experience but could have been better.

I have eaten here quite a few times, unfortunately this time the food was of a very poor standard, bar staff were polite, waiter knew very little on how to treat customers. HSB real ale was as usual the best but very pricey.

Food was delicious and fresh but service wasn’t great. The waitress was lovely but seemed like she was inexperienced and on a different planet. The pub itself is in need of some TLC.

Always have a great meal here. Food is fabulous, staff are friendly and polite and a good atmosphere in the whole pub. Can’t wait to go again and booking on Quandoo for the first time was also very easy and would do it again.

All was excellent but a little disappointed with the flat beer.

Nice pub open fire. Helpful and friendly staff. Food very nice. The only disappointing part is there were 3 of us. We all fancied the items on the 2 for 14.95 lunch menu. Sadly,only 2 of us could eat from it. Has to be 2,4,6,8 people etc. Perhaps they could adjust the price for any odd number 3,5 etc, as long as there is a minimum of 2 eating from it. Otherwise a nice meal.

Nice meal. Bit squashed on table 17. My sister in law and myself had our little dogs with us, and it was just a bit cramped. I must admit I didn’t say we had two dogs with us so in future I shall tell them when I book, that I don’t want to be up in that section again

Great value for money and great quality food. Staff polite and helpful as always. Always come here for special occasions or just to have an enjoyable meal.

Friendly staff food was hot and well presented plenty of it as well desert was well nice for those with a sweet tooth toffee crunching sticky toffee pud

After numerous visits to The Horns I have never had a bad meal, until we visited on 22nd Jan 2019 to celebrate my daughters birthday. We were a party of 5 (3 adults and 2 children) I ordered the Beef Wellington from the Specials Menu and when it came it was the large portion I would normally expect from The Horns but the quality and taste was very poor, the beef was not of great quality, the pate used on the beef was just something pre purchased and looked like it had just been plopped on the meat and gain the warmth from the meat - but it was horrid. The pastry was ok but the Diane Sauce that was advertised with it did not complement it at all and ruined it. The veg was dry and tasteless also. My daughters burger and chips arrived and the bun was way too big for the burger and she said her chips were not cooked very well. My son had the chicken curry and although it ate what he could and enjoyed it when I tried it it seemed very bland. I cant believe the meal was so bad as I normally really enjoy my meals here, its our local and would always recommend it - I would think twice about coming back to eat, I'm disappointed.

A lovely evening celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious, lovely and hot. We had to wait a while, but the pub was busy, we were told when we ordered that there was a bit of a wait. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will come again.

The Food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money .we would definitely eat there again. The children loved the chocolate fudge cake

The meals we ordered weren’t particularly good. The battered fish was over cooked, the breaded mushrooms were over cooked and the raspberry pavlova was just a small bought meringue covered in far too much whipped runny cream. Not nice at all. The service was good though

Excellent roast , perfect Christmas eve eve lunch with hubby. X would recommend thus place to everyone .ten out of ten , staff work very hard to deliver an excellent service.

Lovely roast dinners, generous portions and nice and hot. Staff helpful and friendly and didn't seem to mind the children making a mess! We did try and clean up😬

Absolutely fabulous roast dinner. Not enjoyed a roast so much in a long time. Will definitely go back for another.
