The Horns Inn

Last minute booking for our group as wanted to try somewhere different for our Christmas dinner this year. Service was great fast and very professional. was great to see an actual manager working alongside the staff even the dirty stuff. Food was amazing. I tried something new and out there called the American style waffle burger which at first I didn't really know what to expect. when it came out of the kitchen it just took me back to san Francisco. It tasted like I was on holiday again and brought back great memories the rest of the party loved the food and prices are very reasonable including drinks. Patricia behind the bar very fast and efficient and so polite and helpful with difficult requests and even offering to bring drinks over as the barrels had to be changed and didn't want to be waiting while the food was getting cold. Overall a very enjoyable evening and this is one establishment I will be being returning for another visit and one of those fantastic burgers. The pub was very welcoming, the barmaid was very friendly and so were the locals. The fire was on and very cost. The food was excellent. The best chips ever.

We went for my dads birthday. I have never eaten in The Horns before and it is walking distance from me, so I really do not have any excuse. I had to call them twice to add another person to the table and they were so lovely about it. Our table was ready and waiting. It was busy, so would recommend booking. The food was delicious and there was so much of it. I will definitely eat here again. Thank you

Friendly pub with good food, good staff and nice and local to where we live. It gets busy but it's good it has plenty of regulars.

Overall the food and service was good although the roast beef on one plate of food was overcooked and tough. I will return though but will avoid the beef.

Absolutely brilliant service and there was 12 of us and we were all brought our food at same time.. can’t fault the staff all very polite attentive helpful. Well done. We have already booked our Christmas night feast with them. Can’t wait. oh and the food is the tops.

Lively place with welcoming staff. Menu very good and varied. Food delicious and good quality, if a little expensive for pub grub. Portion sizes were too large which we felt spoilt the enjoyment of the meal. We would happily go back, but would share dishes next time.

The weekly specials menu is really good and really enjoyed the Moroccan Lamb Burger! The mixed fish starter was also good and quite big for 1 person.

Poor food service, one meal was wrong one table seemed to get preferable service with alsorts food coming out. Won't be back again. Someone else also complained about how slow food service was.

As a family with 1 vegan it is difficult to find a place to suit all. A lovely choice for all diners, good varied menu.

The main meals were generous portions. We weren't told in advance that the kitchen closed at 9:30pm. When puddings arrived they were disappointing. The atmosphere was that this is very much a locals pub and made us feel uncomfortable. Staff were friendly.

The Food was fantastic when it eventually arrived - we were warned there would be a little wait, but when you know you have three large table bookings it would be a good idea to get extra staff on? The poor waiting staff were run off their feet! Our table was booked for 7.15 and we did not get our main courses until 9pm! It would not stop me going back as the food quality and portions where amazing value for money. Keep up the good work guys

Superb service with an excellent roast dinner, one of the best I have ever had, recommended, top notch. My Fathers Day outing proved a real treat for all of us.

Pub is a bit rough at the edges but the the staff were courteous and friendly. The food was amazing. There were 10 of us and the meals all arrived at the same time. The meals were a very good size and all the meals were hot. I would recommend the pub , very highly.

Staff extremely helpful. The food was excellent, nicely presented and served in a timely manner. There is a good feel about The Horns and comes across as a very friendly place.

Comfortable family pub serving generous portions of good quality food. Good selection of real ales and other drinks available. Friendly bar staff. Open fires add to the ambiance.

The table we were allocated(No12) was in a small alcove, not big enough for two people to eat comfortably. To compensate for this I had to sit on a stool. I have never sat on a stool in a restaurant to eat a meal. I cannot fault the food but I shall not be returning

there was an extensive menu offering a good range for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The price was reasonable and the portions were massive! Would definitely go again!

Food is always superb, great value for money. I try and eat here with friends every couple of months as we always enjoy it so much.

Very slow service for a set menu. Table’s were arriving after us and getiing served and clear before we recieved each course. Heard good comments but yesterday certainly didnt match up to those.

Waited hour and half for our food when told won't be longer than 40 minutes .worst steak I've ever had service poor.we eat and drink often and its normally one of the best .

The Horns has good food and generous portions. The bar staff are efficient and chatty. Some of the tables are in cramped positions, especially those on the raised areas. Generally a good all round pub.

Good food, good service, just don't go on a Friday if you have children with you, as all the construction workers congregate for their end of week drink and the language is not ideal for children.

We took our aunt out for the day and had a lovely Sunday lunch, huge portion of food, had to leave some unfortunately. Friendly staff, would recommend this pub.
