Lovely warm welcoming country pub. Excellent food and drinks. And very dog friendly. We’ve already booked again.

Good food portions. Slight improvements necessary Mushy peas to be served hotter Ratio of biscuit base to cheese cake needs to be reviewed. Ditch frozen fruit on cheesecake Overall score 7/10

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with smiles and friendly staff. The food was great and arrived without delays. Well looked after by the staff throughout and even managed room for pudding. There was no rush for us to pay and leave either. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place and it has taken us 3 years to make the visit and we now have it as our favorite restaurant.

Disappointed..staff were nice the food was bland in terms of the accompanying vegetables with the turkey .

Thank you for a lovely evening! We were a party of 5 friends who had not seen each other in quite some time. Everything was wonderful, especially the service from the gentleman in the vest who kept us giggling all night thanks to his great sense of humor.

Travelled for a birthday meal and it was certainly worth it. Even though it was busy the restaurant was calm relaxed and enjoyable. The food was amazing - Chicken Ballentine and the Beef Daube special. Excellent presentation and flavours. Will definitely be returning.

The Sunday lunch leg of lamb was inedible. After complaining there was a partial refund. Ive eaten at this pub for many years and the value for money, service and quality is in decline. This is sad because it was a fantastic place.

Had a lovely meal here with a friend last night, very friendly service from the team, food was delicious (I had Steak, Ale & Mushroom Pie followed by an absolutely divine gooey Chocolate & Beetroot Fudge Cake!). Would definitely recommend. We booked in advance online too, it was busy for a Wednesday night.
