Food was really tasty, only item that needs to be looked at was the Peshwari Nan, perhaps take that off the menu, otherwise really tasty, staff very friendly and nice and relaxed venue.

Pub that does very good Indian food- well cooked and excellent value-would recommend for 02 academy for pre gig beers and food. Friendly people and easy parking on streets around- only 5 minutes from 02 and you will miss the usual multi story car park silliness after the gig. A great find for us!!

Very nice place. Staff were very friendly and the food and beer were lovely. Why only negative comment is that it is a bit expensive. I paid £11.95 for my main which was a Hyderbadi Lamb dish. It was good but it wasn't worth £11.95.

A pub with wonderful food and great atmosphere just around the corner from Mailbox. Do not hesitate and book your place. Or have a lunch take away if you work in proximity:)

Friendly welcome. I got a small table for just one person, perfect. It was a good idea to reserve, most or maybe all free tables had a visible reserved status. Obviously with good reason because shortly after I had come potential guest without a reservation had no luck. My meal - a mixed grill plate - was filled with different kinds of grilled meat or chicken plus a large amount of very tasty onions. It included two sauces and a mixed salad. For me it was impossible to scrape the plate. The selection of beer is not very large, about 8 or 10 kinds of beer, but I found what I like. Can be recommended without restriction of any kind!

I last visited two years ago and was hoping that the food quality hadn't changed. It had, it was somehow better than before! We all ordered something different and my party of 5 all agreed that each meal was delicious. We chatted with the owners and discovered that they have recently opened a new venue which I can't wait to try!

Staff was great and pub was nice too. Just a small pub but felt a lot more personal rather than sitting in a restaurant. Food was great and quick. Was fresh as well so it was really good to have

I liked it. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere for an early Friday evening family meal. Enjoyed the Goan fish curry and lamb Rogan Josh, would visit again if I was local to try more dishes.

Bit pricey and no pops but tasty. Chicken madras is good and spicy but not exactly huge. Nice friendly feel to the place. If in town a good option.

Very tasty platters — veg and Non-veg. The food was freshly prepared and was value for money. It’s location in the city centre makes it a clever choice who want informal atmosphere.

Great combination of good beers and authentic Indian food all under the one roof. Visited the night of a champions league match and were able to watch the match whilst eating and enjoying the beers!

it's tucked away in a back street behind the Mailbox less than ten minutes easy walk from New St station and serves some terrific indian food - which is proven by how heavily booked it was . Also 2 or 3 decent hand-pulled beers for the Aleheads. Service was very quick and attentive. Recommended

Great food, cheaper than local equivalents and friendly service. Regular mixed grill is only £9.95 compared to £15 locally. Wings are great green chicken could be more succulent but sauce helps to make juicy.
