If you want an excellent meal in a lovely well cared for restaurant run by husband and wife team just book the Luxor in Charminster Rd. We were 6 of various ages some vegetarian. We shared two mezze platters which was so tasty My son had the Lebanese beer which he liked. For main we had the Lamb tagine , melt in the mouth, the vegetarian tagine, the Okra and Lamb tagine with lovely subtly flavoured rice and some Lahmajoon a kind of pizza with mince lamb, very tasty. . All home made with the best ingredients. The children had chicken and chips. And of course baklavas ( beautifully presented in a special dish) and black tea to finish off . The bill was reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening with our guest from Germany.

The food was lovely, with large portions. The service was very friendly, although a little inattentive at times meaning we were sat without drinks for a while.
