Booked a week in advance to find out upon arrival they had closed and only open to take outs. Then had the audacity to say we hadn’t booked anyway... lies, I showed them email confirmation! This was then met by “oh yes sorry, we’re not open - changing names”

You need to remove reservations for this restaurant as Mint does no longer exist as an eat in restaurant. We arrived to find only takeaway orders available.

An excellent, reasonably priced, Indian Restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and the staff are very friendly. We went on a Friday evening fairly early and the place was fairly empty but by 8pm it had filled up. There was also a steady stream of take away customers.

Quite disappointed with our evening at The Mint. Very quiet in the restaurant. Felt rushed through our meal, main course arrived as soon as starters were taken away. No desserts at all!!!! Sat so close to other customers it was difficult to hold a conversation and to not listen to theirs! The food we had was nice but the whole experience was enough to stop us going again unfortunately.

The place, the staff and some of the meal was good. I ordered lamb hanndi for my main which was not to my taste and seemed to be overcooked.

Excellent food, nice restaurant. Building smelled of damp which you notice throughout your time there but then it is a very old building! Toilets could use some money spending on them. But the restaurant itself is nice, food very good, and service was good.

Food good, service was OK felt a little rushed during the meal even though the place wasn't that busy. Recommend that the menu is reviewed as it still has the old name on it and it could do with a little more variation.

the food is the best indian meal i have had in this country only mumbia is a little better but this is a gem the meat melted in the mouth will be going back

Really nice food, loads of choice and friendly staff. Will definitely go again. One small point. I personally don't like waiters coming across mid-meal asking if everything is OK, especially when I have a mouth full. They did it 3 times, different person each time. Really, if there is anything wrong, I WILL tell you. Other than that, great.

Quiet night in Mint due to the BBQ weather so lacking atmosphere, however as always the food was very good indeed ! would always recommend this place.

Good service. Good food. Good prices. My only criticism is that where we were sitting the tables were very close together and I prefer more space.

The Mint restaurant provides great service and great food. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. We enjoyed a super birthday meal there and will return again soon.

The food was delicious, we all enjoyed what we had chosen, if there is a very minor quibble, we had to wait rather a long time before we were seated, and then for our food to appear, but it was probably worth the wait as we were all well satisfied with our choices,

Always excellent food & service well worth a visit the best Indian in the Area with a nice contemporary decor. My son took all his friends who normally eat at the Indian restaurants in Macclesfield, they were very happy 😃 & agreed it’s the best. I am also returning with my husband this fri.

Great food and service with the bonus of a Christmas disco! Despite the restaurant being full, the service was speedy, efficient and friendly. A good night.

Excellent food and wine. Particularly liked the fact that food is served on individual plates rather than in a bowl which always takes up a lot of space on a table. However, the setting is stark with grey being the main colour. There is no warmth about the place.

restaurant lacking in ambiance. Where we sat seemed a little depressing as the walls, woodwork and pictures were all grey. But, the food was excellent and the staff attentive, although they might smile a little and be a little more interactive. Can certainly recommend the food, it was perfection.

We enjoyed a delicious meal. The menu has a very good range of specialist dishes in addition to the traditional Indian favourites. The service was excellent and the restaurant has a very pleasant ambience. The best Indian food we have had for a very long time.

Lovely food ,the staff were very friendly and informative as they had some dishes I'd not heard of before. The Indian wine was also very very nice.

We were given a friendly welcome. Draft Cobra was good ! Starters of lamb chop and The Mint kebab were very tasty. Mains of Haandi and prawn kebab were excellent. Overall a great experience.

One of our favourite places in the area... great fish curry dishes, pleasant service, reasonable prices. Great evening out after a drink in the local, next door!
