The Mint Room – Bath

Upon arrival, the Manager and staff gave us a warm welcome and politely guided us to our table. We had a lovely booth which was spacious, outward facing towards scenic bath and very comfortable and private. It was a perfect arrangement within the decor and ambiance of the restaurant which was of the highest quality and furnishing, the actual restaurant website does do the food and establishment justice and is a fair representation of what you will see and enjoy to eat. This restaurant was recommended on "Trip Advisor", as it was one of the best Indian restaurants in Bath; adding a modern-twist to Indian food as well as fine-dining; I have to admit it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, balanced and well spiced, not over powering the taste of the fish and chicken dishes but blended into the fabric of the food. It's fair to say this is an establishment that prides itself on fine-dining of the highest quality and the presentation, attentive nature to ensure your happiness throughout your experience was absolutely fabulous.

Superb food and excellent service from Moh and his Team. The atmosphere and the journey through India Tasting menu is as good as visiting the Country. Need to visit the Clifton restaurant now to compare.

The Mint Room is a special Indian Restaurant - high quality food, well presented with very good attentive service. The use of spices is exquisite. The range of dishes on the menu is good and includes some dishes which are a bit different from the usual Indian menu as well as traditional choices. I would put this in the 'fine dining' bracket with reasonable prices.

Wonderful food resulting in an excellent evening in every way - except the lack of nearby car parking. We will most definitely be returning soon.

Without doubt the best curry we have had the pleasure of eating. This is refined curry dining. The staff overall were very attentive and polite although scope for improvement in the meet and greet on arrival - left waiting while manager answered two phone calls. They could also do with losing a couple of tables down the middle of the room as they are far too close to each other - hence 5 out of 6

Great food and service. Some new taste experiences. Prawns slightly overcooked but delicious non the less and the decor and cleanliness highlighting a lone cobweb visible above the suspended ceiling from my window seat... Had the cobweb been inhabited I'd have applauded the principle of live and let live.

A very interesting menu with a lot of dishes I didn't know. Quite a few Southern Indian ones as well. The food was really tasty and beautifully presented. The veggie platter for two as a starter was quite delicious. Service was excellent as well. Not cheap though.

Food great but long delay before being seated followed by another long delay before our order was taken and extremely long delays between each course. Impossible to catch anyone's attention - we were even not offered the chance to order drinks when we were seated so we sat with nothing at all for a good half hour. The restaurant was full and the tables are much too close to each other so it was very difficult to get in and out without literally knocking things off the table; the noise levels were awful because of the number of people crammed into such a small space and we could barely hear each other speak.

Quality food served by polite staff in an much better than average Indian restaurant. Impressed and will return. Modern take on classic dishes and flavours. Well worth a visit

I treated my son and his partner for his 40th burthday and they said it was wonderful . One of the best meals they hae had. Really enjoyed themselves .

Excellent service and food, staff were very friendly and attentive, they even came out with a taster of puddings which were excellent. I would definitely visit again.

Excellent service, first class food. Probably the finest Indian cuisine in the South West. I have dined there now on 5 different occasions and will continue to recommend the Mint Room to all of my friends.

Booked a table for 8:15 and didn't get to sit down until nearly nine o'clock. Was offered a free glass of prosecco to drink while we sat in the porch by the door but was driving so had to turn it down. Starter was amazing, had lemon sole. Main was okay but was very disappointed as I ordered vegetable jalfrezi which comes with onion and red peppers regardless, but the only other vegetable was potato so they might well have called it potato jalfrezi. Restaurant was very noisy and could hardly hear my fellow diners speak, so not a great ambience unfortunately.

Food was okay, nothing to match the price, disappointed. Expensive service charge on bill, this is optional but not clear that it is so. Could not recommend.

The service and food was totally faultless. We really enjoyed our experience there and will definitely be returning again. Thank you very much for a nice night

The Mint Room, was very busy with customers at 8.30pm in the evening. We had requested an early table at 7.30pm, but was told they were full. Because it was so busy, I didn't feel that myself and my husband had the same good service as a previous visit. The food was fabulous and portion size generous.

Delicious, will definitely return when back in Bath! Food and service were fantastic and I Can't recommend enough. left feeling full and happy, even the price was reasonable

Table booked prior to visit, lack of warm warm welcome at the entry. Not a lively atmosphere, certainly not suitable if you have young children.

Fantastic food in cosy surroundings. Can be a little noisy if a large party is dining but that is also largely because the place is so popular.

Very tasty food and good service. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend it. The food presentation was good and the flavours were different.

We were celebrating a special occasion and were made to feel very welcome, waiters etc. were very attentive. We have been before and will definitely be going back, food is amazing.

Warm welcome, great food and a very enjoyable evening. Have eaten at both the Bristol and Bath restaurants recently and both are high quality and worth a visit.

We both had delicious seafood curries and rabbit and lamb chops to start. Fantastic quality food and efficient and friendly service, will be going back and would definitely recommend it to others.

Best Indian food I've ever eaten. Amazing flavours all presented with a modern twist. Very busy on a Saturday night though so meant we had to wait a little while for our table and food, but definitely worth it

It is refreshing to find an Indian restaurant that offers a different menu. The Mint Room does this very well. On top of that the service was excellent and like the fact that they use local produce from local suppliers. Would highly recommend The Mint Room.

Fantastic food.much more than a curry house!! The only reason I've not given a perfect rating is that due to the restaurant being very busy the service was a fraction slower than I expected.

The service was friendly and seemed very knowledgable, able to answers our questions on the dishes easily. More importantly the food we had was absolutely excellent and came in nice, big portions; I would highly recommend.

First time at the Mint Room (Bath) and thoroughly enjoyed it! The team there were welcoming and helpful; the food was very well presented and each dish was really tasty. We will return!

Great restaurant in a slightly unlikely location! Excellent service and food. Will definitely be back to enjoy it again, but with friends next time to spread the word!
