Fabulous! The best Indian I've ever had! Wonderful service and beautiful restaurant. I'd come back to Bath just to come to The Mint Rooms! S
Relaxed early evening meal with friends. Excellent service, lovely food, unusually smart decor! Only drawbacks are parking and toilets need more care. But we will be back after disappointing experiences in more central establishments.
Food and wine was good as always, the restaurant was empty except for 2 other tables and we were sat in a corner when my colleague showed me corporate video clip on his phone when one of the waiters came rushing over and told us to stop and turn it down...even though the volume was barley audible the attitude was unnecessary and caused embarrassment in front of our guest. We have eaten at this restaurant many times but will not be returning.
Amazing fresh food with outstanding service! Best curry I have ever had! The waiters went out of their way to make sure you were happy and food was great value for money.
We had a birthday dinner for 4. The service was great with a personal touch, and very good atmosphere. Definitely a place to go back too.
Fantastic food, beautifully presented by very knowledgable staff who do not rush you during your dining experience. Would recommend to everyone after an Indian meal with a difference.
We came from London and being Asian ourselves we like to try different Indian restaurants from different locations. Personally, this was overall the best experience! The quality of food was excellent and absolutely delicious. All the staff were very friendly and service was excellent despite the restaurant being so busy. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to eat at a top class Indian restaraunt in Bath.
Unfortunately when we visited for the first time between Christmas and New Year, they were extremely busy. The service and some of the food were consequently disappointing.
Really great experience all around. Very busy, but service was still quick, and we could see why it was so popular when the food arrived. Fantastic restaurant with amazing food
It has been a long time since we have been to The Mint Room and we wondered why we had left it so long. This is not your average Indian Restaurant. The décor is modern and tasteful. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and the food is to die for - even if you are not a vegetarian you should try the vegetarian platter for starters! Not one of the dishes we had failed to live up to expectation - it was all delicious! We have promised ourselves that we will not leave it quite so long next time!
Went to the mint room when staying in bath overnight . The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious definately visit again when in bath
The atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic. The only downfall for us was we didn't get any popadoms and they was not on the menu. The service was great even though it was very busy.
Great place and great food. Everything good from the moment we arrived and got boosted to a better table. Food presentation really good and modern.
The restaurant is very well decorated and the staff are polite and welcoming. The food is slightly expensive but well presented. The complimentary poppadoms are a nice touch. Good for a special occasion.
Excellent service from the staff and astonishingly good food. We would certainly make this our favourite place when visiting Bath especially if staying at the hotel across the road!
This was the second time visiting the mint room and I can safely say it never fails to impress. Brilliant food and atmosphere, would strongly recommend visiting!
Excellent food with excellent service, curry made to my preference and decor is amazingly beautiful. Took a girl there for my first date and now she sees i set the standard high.
The food and the service was brilliant! My only negative was that there aren't many veggie options in the main menu, and although I'm not a vegetarian I don't eat much meat. Aside from that, it was perfect!
We had to wait in the draughty entrance room for our table, and then the best part of 45 minutes for our starters, but once the food arrived we decided that it was all worth it. Excellent quality, superb flavours, beautiful plates of food, totally unlike any Indian restaurant I have been in before. We will definitely be back!
The ambience was very nice and the food was great. Very modern and tasty. I thought the portion size of the starter was very small for the price but the main was a decent size and I left feeling very full. The poppadoms came in a bowl in little shards. I don't think it would have made 1 if you put it back together and it came with mango chutney and only one other sauce which was very similar only a bit more tomatoey. Some of the shards were too small to dip them in! Initial reception wasn't great as they were very busy and don't have a bar area for you to wait in. We had a reservation so didn't wait too long but had to sit in a small passageway and it just didn't feel like a particularly warm welcome. Service between starter and main course was quite long too. When our bill came they had added a service charge which I was surprised at given there were only 2 of us, I would have paid a tip anyway as the food was very nice and it was a nice place but I didn't feel like they went over and above in terms of customer service. Overall a positive experience and the best thing was 100% the food. Well presented with a modern twist and flavours. Would go again.
Great environment - buzzy atmosphere. Quite a surprise on such a location. Food looked amazing but we had to leave suddenly due to an unexpected problem with our kids at home so will have to return sometime to fully experience it
Excellent food and service as always from The Mint Room. Got to be the best Indian restaurant in Bath. I cant recommend it highly enough.
Good atmosphere without being too noisy. Excellent service despite that the restaurant was completely full. Food was lovely, very well flavoured and much nicer than the run of the mill curry house. Highly recommended
Great food and lovely staff. Would really recommend the lamb chops. The first Indian restaurant that I've left feeling comfortably full, rather than feeling like not eating for a week!
service is either over the top or a bit slow it seems but the food was very good and very fresh so overall a good meal
Excellent Service, Excellent food, Excellent ambience. Thank you for a great evening. We will be coming again especially with our son and his girl friend from London who said it was the best curries they have had for years
Food was good but waited over an hour for it and service charge automatically added even though we were only a table of 3! Makes you feel very awkward if you tell them you dont want to pay it, but i guess thats the point!
Absolutely lovely from the moment we got their. Service was great attentive but not overbearing. Food was fabulous cant fault any of it. Well worth a visit, we will be back.
The service and food were brilliant. I only miss a mark off as we ordered something that never arrived. There is no spice rating on the menu and our food was hotter than expected so do ask! Excellent experience though.
Welcomed on arrival. Table allocated was really too small for the party booked. However we were moved when a larger table became available. Food good. Service could have been better. Overall enjoyed the evening.
Quick service by lovely staff and great food, well presented and good value for money! Would go again for sure. Highly recommend to anyone who likes Indian.
It was a lovely meal with great service and delicious food. I could not have chosen anywhere nicer to celebrate Valentine's day and will definitely go again.
Great food, imaginatively and creatively presented. Good, unobtrusive, service and great atmosphere (on a Friday evening). More expensive than standard Indian restaurant, but reasonably priced for what it is. Good place for a celebration.
We arrived on time to a busy restaurant on a Saturday night. Table wasn't ready and we were immediately pushed back out into the entry hall which didn't have enough seating or ambience. Service was inattentive and incredibly slow which was disappointing. We weren't asked if we wanted any aperitifs but were given water. 0830PM start - mains by 10.00. Not great. On the plus side the food was pretty good, the waiters were friendly when they did eventually get to us and the restaurant is nicely decorated and the lighting level is good. Overall though the food didn't compensate for the general slowness
i was not overall impressed with this we turned down our usual date to centreparcs to afford a more unusual indian meal as we love our indians! irstly i booked the table over 2 weeks ago online and i know it was valantines day but did not expect it absolutely packed out! on arrival we were not asked for our name we just got taken through after a short wait by the door. then we were taken to a seat that was free when i had asked specifically on the online booking page for a nice seatout the way of people as i had planned to propose to my partner! instead i held back we rushed the meal and got out of there. we sat to eat at 7.30pm and left by 9 as we just wanted the meal and to go home as it was way to packed and noisey and we had a group of 4 drunks sat behind us which wasnt very pleasent. not happy at all when we paid £70 could have just got a takeaway for less than half the price!!!
Great food , excellent service will definately return . Even after I changed my reservation by 1 hour they were very accommodating and the restaurant was very busy
Great food and an interesting menu with lots of choice. The food was well presented and tasty. However the restaurant was very busy service was slow.
Tasty food. Friendly staff. Busy, so Long wait for main meal but well worth it!! Surprise chocolate mousse to share was well received. Definitely recommend.
The atmosphere was excellent as it was busy but nice. The service was good and efficient and more importantly the food was very nice and tasty.Defiantly be back here again.
A superb restaurant with lovely food choices and excellent service. This is our second visit here and there is always a good atmosphere. Advise booking sufficiently in advance as it is so popular. We will always try to come here on our visits to Bath, thoroughly enjoy it.
