We have frequented The Mustard Seed on numerous occassion and the service anf food has always been exceptional. However, on this occassion both the service and food werr below par. Which was a great disappointment especially as we were there to celebrate my wifes 70th birthday

No lettuce in the Caesar salad and very dry ham, very little dressing, poor poor starter.

Nice staff and lovely building Food, disappointing. I am vegetarian and the choice was between 2 pasta dishes. I can cook these dishes at home, I hope from a restaurant with trained chefs a more adventurous menu. I had the tai curry from the vegan menu and it was a small portion and tasteless. I expected better quality food

I have been before and had a really gorgeous meal however on this occasion it was pretty average, I know you should say at the time however this was a birthday treat and I didn't want others to know we were dissapointed. There wasn't a pleasant ambiance and as doners we felt service pretty lackadaisical. Won't go back when we're in Inverness.
